Summer's POV:

"Liar." I muttered.

"I'm not lying." Matty replied.

Of course he was. Anyone who has ever loved me, has always turned out to be a fake. For instance, Tyler. Or, my oh-so-beloved Uncle.

My thoughts were interrupted when Matty spoke again.

"I'll prove it to you." He proposed.

"And how exactly are you going to do that?" I retorted. There's only one thing that I want: freedom.

"I can give you some leeway and I'll back off a bit. I'll help you with the baby and I'll buy you anything in the world. But, I can't give you your freedom."

"Can't or won't?" I retaliated. Of course he can give me my freedom. He's always saying that I'm a nuisance and I'm in his way, so why doesn't he let me go?

Matty sighed deeply and kept his calm face on. He's good at this.

"Okay, I'll let you out of the house more often. We'll go on dates and we'll do normal things that normal couples do. That's the best I can do. Take it or leave it."

"Okay." I breathed out. We're a couple now? Wow, this is stressful. I'm not even sure what I can or can't do. Will he still punish me, even though I'm pregnant? Will he actually keep his word? Many questions were running around my head, making me feel sick and dizzy.

The next thing you know, I'm taken into the darkness.

Matty's POV:

When I returned back to my room, in hopes to see Summer's sleeping form, I was shocked to see she wasn't there. I ran around the house to see where she had got to. I mean, surely she couldn't have got far. Finally, I checked the garden.

For a moment, I didn't make any noise. I just admired the sun hitting her brown hair on a perfect angle. She was smelling a rose, deeply breathing in the fragrance. The only thing that bothered me is the fact that she had pale skin than contrasted to her red, tired eyes.

Hesitantly, I approached her. I was determined to take her out tonight. I had two concert tickets to see the 1975 and I knew for a fact that Summer was a huge fan.

(A/N- lol Matty, get your head out the gutter)

"Hey Sum."

"Oh hi Matty, how long of you been here?" She replied.

"Erm, I just got here after I had ermm, I just got here." Lies. Obviously I wasn't openly going to admit that I was staring at her like a love-struck puppy for the last 5 minutes.

"Oh okay."

I held my hands in front of her, signalling that she should get off the floor. The floor is where peasants sit and Summer is definitely not a peasant. I consider her more of a princess, maybe even a queen. Summer pulled herself of the ground using my hands and wobbled slightly.

"Easy tiger." I joked. She smiled a small smile and I took this as my time to ask her on a date. My hands began getting sweaty because my nerves were getting the best of me. Wow, who'd ever of thought a gang leader would get nervous over asking a girl on a date.

"Would you like it accompany me out tonight?" I asked. Holy shit, this is scary. Being a gang leader means that I'm used to telling people commands, not asking them to accompany me on a date.

"I'd love to accompany you." She whispered. I think I visibly relaxed when she agreed. It would've been embarrassing if she didn't agree.

"We're leaving at 5pm, make sure you're ready. Oh and dress casual." I winked and walked back inside the house.

Summer's POV:

As I climbed out of the shower, I looked down to my left wrist. Cuts and scratches were beginning to heal - again. I can't describe the feeling of wanting to make myself suffer. I just want to grab the sharpest thing I can find and slice my wrists. Matty, however, has removed all sharp things in my reach, he even made me trim and file my nails.

Matty. It's weird to explain to people our relationship, but more weird to explain how it's developed. Matty forced his way into my life and now I feel dependent on him. Thinking about Matty has made me wonder about my future. Is it safe? Will Matty ever let me go? What'll happen to my baby? Will Matty punish me even though I'm pregnant? Thoughts and questions were swimming around my head, making me feel wheezy.

I sat down on the toilet seat and let myself relax for a moment. Stress is not good for the baby. Standing up, I walked over to the mirror and stared at my stomach. Sure, it wasn't flat, but there's no baby bump yet, that's just my food baby. Yes, I have one of those.

Matty said to 'dress casual', so I wore black jeans, a white tshirt and my black, strappy kimono. Monochrome is my thing.

"You took me to a 1975 concert?!" I screamed. The inner fangirl is yet to be released.

"I did. Do you like it?" Matty asked.

"Nope....I love it!"

Once a fangirl, always a fangirl.

"Phew."

You know them moments when you love going somewhere, but then something happens and makes you hate the place and just destroys your mood? Well, it was that moment.

"Summer? Summer is that you?"
