Matty's POV:

"George, Ross and Adam are going to be looking after you today." I said, whilst shovelling corn flakes into my mouth.

"I know. You got work, right?"

"Mhm." I lied. Today I was planning Summer's surprise birthday spectacular which she still has no clue about. The guys knew about my plan and knew that under no circumstances were they to even hint it out to Summer.

"They'll be here soon, so you should probably get dressed." Hopefully Summer could take a hint.

George and the others were going to take Summer out somewhere so that I could plan her party without any distractions.

I quickly got dressed into my work attire and waited patiently for the guys to arrive.

The sound of keys jingling in a door lock pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Summer! The guys are here." I shouted.

"Okay." She screamed back.

George came and pulled me into a man hug and promised that Summer would be safe under his supervision.

Ross was staying to help me whilst George, Adam and Adams girlfriend, who I still need to meet, are going to take Summer shopping for a party dress.

Summer came down the stairs in high-waisted denim shorts and a pale yellow crop top with the word 'love' across the middle and a pair of brown gladiator sandals.

"Hey guys." Summer spoke, whilst waving awkwardly.

A chorus of heys were said followed by an awkward silence.

"I'm guessing that's Adam and you are?.." Summer trailed, pointing at Adam and giving his girlfriend a pointed look.

"Rose."

So that was her name.

"You're so pretty." They gushed simultaneously. Woah, that was weird. Summer and Rose erupted into giggles and spoke small talk.

"I have a feeling me and you are going to be great friends." Rose said.

"Me too. Are we leaving now?"

"Yeah."

Summer jogged down the hall and collected her bag and purse, whilst I handed my credit card to George.

"Don't let her buy anything. There's a couple of hundred grand on there, she's allowed to spend as much as she wants. Make sure she buys a party dress and don't return until 8 tonight. Got it?" I quizzed with authority in my voice.

"Got it." George replied.

Summer returned to the lounge where we were all currently situated.

"Let's go!" Summer shouted. Everyone bid their goodbyes and left, leaving me and Ross to plan one hell of a party.

"That was the last one." I panted. Blowing up balloons had proven much more difficult than I thought.

Balloons covered all of the downstair flooring, banners were hanging from walls and door-frames, giving the room the party effect. The not so mini, mini bar was full of alcoholic beverages, everything from alcopops to tequila; beer to champagne and shandy to shots. There were a few bottles of water and fizzy drinks scattered around the tables. Ball pit balls were all caged in one room, waiting for Summer to open the lock and release them. Speakers in all the downstairs rooms were plugged in, waiting for the DJ to blast some songs.

Outside, the bbq was set up ready for guests arrival. I made sure Summer was to arrive half an hour later than the guests, giving a better feeling about the party. I mean, it's not a good party if only 1 person turns up. I could only imagine how embarrassing that must be. The birthday cake was on a table-clothed table, waiting for the birthday girl to cut the cake.

On a whole, everything was ready, but I needed to change into my party attire, wait for the guests and wait for Summer and the guys. I mentally patted myself on the back as I walked into my en-suite for a long, relaxing shower.

Summer's POV:

"Why am I wearing a dress again?" I whined. If I'm honest, I'm not one for wearing fancy dresses.

"It's my sisters 16th birthday bash and she said I needed to bring a plus one." Rose explained.

"Why couldn't Adam be your plus one instead?" I fake cried. Dressing up was not my field. I'm more of a sit-and-watch-tv type of girl.

"We've been shopping all day and I even bought your food, so the least you can do it come. Please, it'll be really fun. And it's not like you have any other girlfriends." Rose terrorised. Blackmail at its finest, everybody.

"Fine." I groaned.

My dress was an orange bodycon which had cross-like straps across the chest. The dress was a little revealing, but we were going to a party. I wore white, strappy shoes which had a small heel. I had my hair in prominent waves, just reaching my waist. My makeup consisted of the famous cat-eye and some clear lipgloss. I held a black and white clutch in my hand, finalizing my oufit for the party.

Rose wore a navy blue lace dress with a thin brown belt and a pair of killer black heels with metal spikes around the ankle strap. Rose also had the famous cat-eye look, she said it made a girl look hot. She sprayed us both with perfume and led us out of the door towards her car. Adam and George left earlier for work apparently.

"If Matty saw you tonight, he wouldn't be able to keep his hands off of you!" Rose exclaimed.

"Great." I replied bluntly.

"What got your knickers in a twist?"

Oh, I dont know. Maybe that I need to escape my kidnapper before I fall for him. Yeah, you know, the usual. I ranted mentally.

"Its the time of the month." I wasnt exactly lying, but it wasnt the full truth.

"We just need to go back to Matty's to get my clutch." Rose said.

I just nodded and leant my head against the cool glass window, planning my escape.

How could I escape without Matty noticing my disappearance for a while?

"We're here. Come with me." Before I could protest, Rose grabbed my arm and dragged me towards the door.

"Big smile!"

What?

We walked through the door and what I saw and heard was beyond amazing.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUMMER!" A chorus of many people shouted.
