Summer's POV:

I woke up with a heavy weight around my waist, not that I wasn't expecting it. Having Matty's arm around me in the protective manner always brought a smile to my face, even if I told him that I didn't want him near me.

Telling Matty about my horrific past, did actually make me feel better, but I won't admit that out loud.

Matty groaned, tightening his arm around me. Mine and Matty's legs were entangled together, making us look like a cute couple. But that's the thing, we're not a couple. Sighing, I shuffled to get into a comfortable position. Two people on one sofa isn't exactly comfy after a while. Matty's quiet moan echoed in my ear, making me giggle.

Little Matty prodded my thigh making me laugh uncontrollably. He's such a horny male. My laughter must of woken up Matty. The deep blush on his face made it obvious that he knew why I was laughing.

"Erm, I'm going to take a shower.." Matty trailed.

"Make sure it's cold!" I shouted.

Matty stuck his fingers up at me, making me laugh harder. I'm such a funny person. Matty jogged up the stairs, two at a time, leaving me alone to make breakfast.

The sounds of scraping forks were the only noise in the comfortable silence.

"I'm taking you on our date tonight." Matty said.

"Okay. What time?"

"Be ready at 7pm and I'll pick you up from your bedroom." Matty winked.

"Always the gentlemen." I commented.

Matty could be so gentlemen-like sometimes, it was actually crazy. I mean, he's a gang leader but he's got manners, decency and respect. If you're telling me that's normal, what the weirdest thing I should expect?

***

Scrubing my body in peach and cream shower gel, I began thinking about our date tonight. Was it casual or formal? Do I dress up or just go in normal-everyday clothes? Where were we going? Many questions bombarded my head, but I couldn't answer them myself.

I hopped out of the shower after washing my hair and body and looked through my clothes.

"Matty, what do I wear?!" I shouted.

"Something fancy." He shouted back.

Urgh, that means I have to dress up and do my makeup, hair and nails.

Searching through my wardrobe of clothes, I went to the dress section. There was a red, mid-thigh, strapless dress with a few scattered diamonds on the chest area. This dress was so beautiful. The dress was tight at the top, making my bust look bigger, and flowed down in a cute ruffled pattern. I found some gold gladiator sandals, which were heeled and a matching clutch. I straightened my hair but allowed the ends to curl in slightly. My hair was just left alone, I didn't add hairspray, clips or anything. It was simple but effective. I painted my nails in a shimmery gold colour and sprayed myself in my Justin Bieber girlfriend perfume.

Wobbling down the hallway and down the stairs in these heels, I almost stumbled but managed to catch myself before I could fall and embarrass myself.

"You look absolutely beautiful, wow...And I thought I told you that I'd pick you up from your room." Matty whined.

"I thought I'd save you the hassle. And when have I ever listen to you?"I shrugged.

"No need to get moody." The comment he just said spelled sass.

"No need to get sassy." I mimicked.

"Touché." Matty smirked, whilst linking his arm with my own.

"Shall we m'lady?" Matty's voice was thick with a mock english accent, even though he was english, if that makes sense. Just because somebody is from England doesn't mean that they sound like the stereotypical, posh londoner. I hate when people assume that.

"We shall." I replied.

Walking outside, Matty asked me the inevitable question.

"Motorbike or car?"

"I've always wanted to go on a motorbike, so motorbike." I said.

The garage door automatically opened at the press of a button. About 7 sports cars and 3 motorbikes came into my view.

"Is that a Harley Davidson? Sweet." I exclaimed. These motorbikes had always been my favourite. I feel as though they give off that vibe that suggests the rider is fearless, daring and brave. Amazing, right?

"You know about bikes?" Matty asked.

"More than you think."

Matty tossed me a black helmet after clipping on his helmet. It's ironic really, we're putting on helmets just before we ride a death machine. It's like trying to commit suicide but scared of dying.

"Let's go." He commanded.

I swung my leg over the bike, copying Matty's actions. The rumble of the bike turning on made me smile so big, I love this venturous feeling.

"Hold on tight princess." Matt laughed.

The bike sped off down the country lanes, swerving round the bends and bouncing over speed bumps. The bounce each time we landed never failed to make me laugh. This is insane.

My hair flew ferociously in the wind, blowing in my mouth every now and then. The wind hit my face like constant slaps; it stung, but I didn't mind. The adrenaline was pumping through my veins with such an impact, making me think that if I let go, I'd fly. I'm not stupid though, I didn't let go of Matty's waist. My cheek was pressed against the back of his leather jacket, seeking for warmth.

The motorbike gradually came to a slow halt, gravel crunching beneath the thick tyres. I unhooked my helmet, shaking my head to allow my hair to fall back into its original style.

"That was so cool." I exclaimed.

"You look so cool." Matty spoke.

I picked up the bottom of my mid-thigh dress slightly and gave him a swirl.

"I know right." I winked. "And by the way, normal gentlemen say their dates look beautiful, not cool." I spoke matter-of-factly. Matty nodded and enlaced his fingers with my own. The common rush of heat rose to my face, instantly making me blush.

"You look beautiful." Matty whispered. If it was possible, my cheeks heated even more.

"I must admit, you scrub up well."

"I do try." Matty winked.

Our small talk was cut short when we approached the waiter.

"Table for two, under Stones."

"Right this way, sir, miss." The waiter led us to the secluded area in the restaurant. Sitting down, I took my time to look at the exquisite restaurant. The shimmering metallic walls created a unique atmosphere, which I loved. The elegant lighting created a warm, romantic setting, making me like a princess.
