Summer's POV:
I woke up with a agonising but expected headache. The pain in my head was slowly fading like my hope to freedom. I looked around my bedroom, everything just how I left it. A crinkled note on the mahogany bedside table caught my attention.
It said:
"I've put a tracker in your arm, so don't even think about escaping because I'll always find you.-M"
I scoffed, yeah right.
"Is that a threat?" I muttered to myself.
"No princess, it's a promise."
I snapped my head up to the infuriating voice, it's so posh and annoying. He sounds so stuck up and snobby. Oh wait, he is.
Matty was stood, casually leaning against the door frame with a lit cigarette in his mouth. How can he be so calm in this situation? I masked my anger and madness with a calm and complexed face. I was not letting him win.
"Piss off, you don't own me." I am so mad right now, who the hell does he think he is? I am not a prize possession, I am my own person.
"Oh but I do princess." Seriously, if he doesn't stop calling me princess I'm going to choke him on that cigarette.
"Stop.calling.me.that." I said through gritted teeth.
"Why princess?"
Was it not obvious enough?
"Because I don't like it."
"Well I do. What I say, goes." He puffed his chest out making him feel more superior. I sniggered under my breath at his attempt to look cool, but damn, you've gotta try harder than that Matty.
"What's so funny?" He whined. God, whining is annoying already, but when he whines it brings annoying to a whole new level.
"You are, Shrek."
I was quite proud of my come-back. He just resembles an ogre: disgusting, filthy and gross. He probably eats his bogeys.
"So now I'm Shrek?" He amusedly asked.
Well, of course. Duh.
"I'm glad you've caught on." The comment was laced with bitter sarcasm. It slipped out of my mouth before I even had chance to think. Sometimes, this can be a flaw, but other times it was an advantage.
His warm honey-coloured eyes with swirls of prominent acorn flecks transformed. Staring into his eyes, I was shocked to say that I found nothing inside. Nothing. It was like looking inside a never-ending depth of darkness combined with a large amount of charcoal being thrown at my soul. I blinked, thinking it was a small effect of my paranoia, but nothing changed. His eyes were black. Pure black. To say I was scared, was an understatement. His eyes were like portals waiting for me to jump in. His eyes held great power and dominance. He almost resembled a demonic creature.
"What did you just say?"He said through gritted teeth.
"You heard me."
What he said next was crazy beyond imaginable.
"Looks like someone needs a punishment." The bitter words left his mouth like a gushing river.
I choked on my own words.
"What?"
Matty never answered my question, but toilsomely gripped my arm, yanking me towards him. I whimpered slightly under his sharp stare. He calmly picked my head up with his finger, forcing eye contact.
