Well, the wall's done. It took us about a week or so, but it's finally done. We used big logs and some wood and metal we got from the hardware store. We even have a gate we can open to let us out and in. We're safe, for now anyways. We still have no idea what's behind the wall, and why they are attacking us.
"Hey." A girl says behind me taking me out of my thoughts.
I turn. It's Lilly, of course it is. Well I have no reason to talk to her, and frankly I don't want to talk to her. She kissed the guy I really liked even when she knew we had something going on.
I turn back around and start to walk but she's to fast and grabs hold of my arm. "Can we just talk, please." I struggle to get her hand off my arm but it wont budge. "Carly. Please, let me explain."
"I don't want to talk to you, Lilly." I say, with a cold look in my eyes.
"Then let me. You need to know what happened." I let out a sigh and we sit on a log, she finally lets my arm go.
"Don't take up the whole day. All though you might need to."
She sighs and then begins. "Ok, I was at the graves and all of a sudden Bellamy ran down and punched a tree. Hard. I went to check out his hand to make sure he didn't really hurt it and I had to check his bandage to make sure he wasn't bleeding more than he should be. He was freaking out. I tried to calm him down but it wasn't working, I even slapped him. After a little while of him freaking out I kissed him. He didn't stop, I didn't think anyone would see. But Bella pretty much tackled me and yelled at me for doing it. He hasn't talked to me since. Sound familiar?" She was talking about Oliver. "You hurt Bellamy you know, bad."
"Well he hurt me too. More than you can believe."
"Talk to him." I looked at her confused. "Both of them."
"This doesn't mean I forgive you. I'm still incredibly mad at you, but." I hugged her. She was confused at first but she hugged me back.
I ran off to find Bella and tell her thanks, but when i ran inside i could see that she was kissing jasper so I didn't want to interrupt.
I turned and found Oliver in my path. "Hey." He said. "I on't know if your mad or upset but Ijust want you to know that we can still be friends." I ooked at him confused. "Wat? Yu think i'm blind? Ican see what's going on between you and Bellamy. I like you Carly. But, it's obvious you don't feel the same about me. And that's ok. So that's why i want us to still be friends." I shook his hand.
"Friends." I say. He turned and went outside. I looked over and saw that Bella and Jasper were just talking now so i stole her away to talk to her.
"Thanls." I said and smiled. "I heard you tackled Lilly."
"Is that what she's saying? I nearly took her head off man." she hugged me. "you're one of my best friends you know that? i'd kill anyone for you."
"Me too." I said then we heard a scream. We ran out to see that there were more tree-men up in the trees. "you'd still kill someone for me?" Iasked Bella.
She looks at me and smiles devilish smile, I can't help but smile the same back at her.
We each grab a gun and aim it to the tress, Devan comes up to me. "pff never get a break." He says shaking his head. I laughed a small laugh almost like a giggle. A spear comes down and hits some girl in the head.
We start shooting they start shooting. They throw spears we shoot guns, they shoot arrows we shoot guns. We really need more weapons.
