My chest starts to close up and its hard to breathe. I want to fall to the ground and just stay there for the rest of my life. But I can't, if Bellamy sees me then how can I explain myself. I can barely breathe let alone talk. I turn around and start walking, I feel sick to my stomach. I just want to get away.

I see Oliver, he waves but I ignore him and continue hoping I don't fall over, I'm dizzy and feel weak. I feel someone grab me and help me just as I'm about to fall down. I look up and see that it's Bella who is helping me. I instantly want to cry, she knows whats going on right now.

She takes me inside and gets me to sit on the couch. I try to start breathing normally again before she starts asking me whats happening.

"I saw what happened." She says softly. "I don't know what he see's in her. Well other than that she took the bullet out of him."

"Wait." I say shocked. "He was kissing Lilly?"

"Yeah, didn't you see it was her?" She asks. I shake my head. "Oh, I'm sorry."

My pain has turned to anger. Towards both of them. "Why would she do this? I mean she saw the connection between us, that's why she asked me if we were together. I said no, obviously, but still she should have seen it." I say quietly. "Ugg!" I yell out.

"If only we had some ice cream right?" She laughs. I rest my head of her shoulder and she rests her head on mine. We sit there for ages, until a boy named Devan walks in. He's one of our best hunters.

"Hey, were going out real soon. And since we lost a few of our other hunters either of you girls want to come with us?" I have met Devan before and he's really nice, and he's nothing close to a sexist which would make sense as to why he would ask us girls to go hunting with them. Bella shakes her head and says that her ankle has been messed up for a few days. "How about you, Carly?" He asks.

I stand. "Hell yeah." I say. He smiles and motions for me to come with him. If anything is going to get my mind off of Bellamy and Lilly it's risking my life out in the open.

He tells me most of the basics of how it's going to go and i feel pretty ready for it. "So when do we leave?" I ask eagerly.

"Now." A familiar voice says from behind me. I turn to see it's Bellamy. Pain and anger rush through me but I turn back before I start to show it to him. Devan looks at both of us.

"Everything ok between you two." He asks worried.

"Peachy." I smile and pick up a gun. I walk away from them and up to the rest of hunters as they start to head out of camp.

We march out silently pointing our guns up and down, left and right, just in case we see anything, like Devan said. We continue until we start to see animals. I see a deer as I look back, I stop and point my gun at its head. I pull the trigger and watch as it falls to the ground dead. A few guys go back and start to carry it back.

"Good shot." Devan says and smiles at me. I smile back and we continue. Someone shoots and I see a red fox fall off a rock and someone go to collect it.

After a few hours of hunting we come back and have 4 animals with us- a deer (the one i shot), a red fox, another deer, and a moose. That should last us a little while. As we walk back to camp I notice that Bellamy comes up to me.

"So how are things with you and your boyfriend?" He says sarcastically just to get on my nerves. Well you know what. No. That's not going to happen I came out here to get my mind off of him and having him win this conversation is not an option.

"Amazing." I say. "You know, we have even had sex, in fact im pregnant with his baby. But that's not all I've had sex with about 20 other guys and that's just been one day." I say this all with such confidence, none of it's true, obviously i mean it's preety lame too, and he knows that, but it still is funny to see how my words have really made him feel like he lost. And thats exactly what i want. "But that's not all that's going on around here. Dont tell me," I pause. "You and Lilly are hooking up." That parts true. His reaction is priceless.

"Where did u hear that from?" He says almost embarrassed.

"Oh you know I have my sources, in fact one of those sources is right here." I point to my eyes. "I saw you practically eating her face over by the graves." I say, with a sudden turn in my tone from gloating and sarcastic to serious and hurt. He looks down to my eyes with a sad look on his face. I don't even want to look at him. "But don't worry about right. It doesn't even matter. Isn't that right?"

I pick up my pace and move ahead of him. He doesn't say a word. We walk back into camp and of course Oliver comes up to me. I shrug him off and say I'm really tired and walk inside, without looking back at Bellamy once.

"I handled that very well." I say to Bella before heading up the ladder. I'm proud of what I said but I'm still not in the mood to be with anyone but myself.

I lay on my bed and think until I drift off into a peaceful sleep. I wake to the sound of gun shots. I hurry down the ladder and outside, it's almost completely dark. I see a lot of people panicking, I run over to all the people with guns pointed in the trees and ask whats happening.

"I saw one." A boy says. He looks young, maybe 13 or 14.

"Saw one what?" I ask him trying to calm him down and get answers.

"The people in the trees" He replies. I look past the people with guns and see one of them on the ground dead.

"Alright everyone except for the people with guns inside now!" They do as I said without any questions asked.

"There!" Someone yells and shoots into the trees. A few others shoot too. And he finally falls out of the trees.

None others are spotted, but we all stay inside until morning except for a few look outs who were switching every so often. I haven't spoke to anyone since the attack and now I lay on my bed wishing I could just go home already.
