"Katrina! Stop talking!" I stared at my feet embarrassed as everyone around me chuckled. It's not like it's my fault that we were taking someone new outside and they had no clue what to do, all I was trying to do was help them out. It sucks being here, everyone always treats me like a child even though i'm practically a teenager. I'm twelve and a half that counts, right? I mean my father is the man around here- he's the president for crying out loud! I should be treated with respect! I swear, sometimes I hate this bloody planet! everyone always thinks that just because i'm the last child to be born that i'm so stupid, i'll show them.

We're hunting for any animal that we can find- all animals and plants here are edible- I see a mountain lion out of the corner of my eye and because i'm at the back of the group I jump at the time to kill it. I hold my spear higher up to my shoulder to aim it and quickly turn facing the creature before me. Without hesitation it jumps for me but I throw my spear and it falls on top of me dead. The only real damage it can do to me is crush me to death and trust me it's doing a real good job, I yell out for help and too men rush over to take it off of me.

"Well what do we have here? Looks like our dear Katrina has finally got some courage." He says looking down on me as I get up and dust myself off.

"That mountain lion would have killed you if it wasn't for me, none of you saw it and by the time it would have gotten to you it would be too late." I said firmly. "So your welcome." I say as continue walking. One of the perks of being the youngest is that I never have to carry my kill. i'm too young to lift something that heavy, suckers.

"Now you listen here you little bitc-" He started before I cut him off.

"No. you listen, if I were you I would watch what you say to me because one wrong tone of voice can send me flying back to my daddy and telling him every piece of dirt I have on you." That shut him up. I know the good gossip about everyone and I am so not afraid to spill it.

After we were done hunting and got back to camp I thought I would go for a little walk. I grabbed my bright blue jacket and tugged it over my grey tank top, other than that i was wearing my worn black skinny jeans and my favorite pair of shoes. They were black ankle height boots and zipped at the side even though they had laces in the front. I didn't think to bring a heavy weapon, just a small knife I always have with me.

I walked through the Forest on one of the paths that leads to a waterfall I love going to, but someone grabbed me and held me up against a tree I was facing the tree so I coldn't see who it was. I knew it was one of our people and not one of the earthlings because they had a knife held up to my neck that only we use.

"Think your so tuff don't ya?" They said. "Well how tuff are yo now hotshot?" I managed to reach up to my waist and grab my knife without thinking I slammed it behind me and into his chest. He fell to the ground and I turned to see who it was, It was Leo- the man I had fought with earlier.

"Leo!?" I screamed at him. I bent down to try and help his wound.

Gasping for air he said "Your lucky. You got away. This. Time. But trust me. There will be more. People. Than just me. Coming for you."

I crawled away from him, bloody handed, and now with no place to go. I got to my feet and the world felt like it was spinning. People hated me and I was all alone out here, no protection and no real weapon.

I started to run the only place I know I can go now. To the people we took from Earth. I can help them and teach them how to survive here, why would they except me.

"Who the hell are you?" One of them yelled at me as I entered their gates.

"Look it's not what you think, I'm here to help you." He didn't look convinced. "Please. I have know where else to go."
