So now that my book's done, i'm going to start editing over the next couple of weeks so i can finaly publish it. I know it's been so long and i should already have it done but procrastination sooo...
Anyways most likely when exams start i will be working to publish it, it should only take me a couple of days- depending on how bad of a writer i am- and then i can get started on my next book.
So my next book i finaly choose the idea i wanted and i've planned some of it out. I probably won't set up an exact weekly schedual but i will try to get in a chapter a week, at least. So this is my new book's description type thing, comment what you think- i'm not sure if anyone will actually think it's a good.idea. I'm thinking of calling it "Feel", you'll see.
Lucy Adoms wasn't like most girls, she hung out with the boys instead of girls, didn't have tea parties and dress up like a princess. But that wasn't her fault, her dad moved so far out into the country it was amazing there were two houses just a minute down the road. After her mom died in a car accident when she was six, her dad became a drunk. She never got to go out and shop like everybody else did, didn't get to have make up, and imagine her suprise when she got her first period and her father was passed out on the couch with a piss stain on his pants. She had to go to the only family she ever had- the Walter's and the Stew's.
But this is a different world. Different life. Different rules. In the year 2025, the government decided that feeling was to much to handle these days. After most of the world was killed off by an ateroid that barely missed Earth but still did impecable.damage. We now have a system, when you wake up you drink the formula and then carry on with your day. My father only drinks alcohal and is barely ever awake. So i throw out his share so he doesn't get locked up again. Then i go to Dylan's house where i find Tyler and him already there and ready to go to school. Since everyone is on the same formula basically everyone thinks the same. No one gets bored in class, no disrepect, no relationships- oh that brings me to the best part. Each year everyone who's eighteen take a test, physical, emotional, something to do with the brain i never really asked questions. Who ever your.matched with is like your true lover or something you get married and bam! Children!
But what happens when you risk everything just to feel what actual love is? When the formula doesn't work on you? When you deny everything you know, just to prove to yourself that you're right. Well, that's what happened for Dylan, and Tyler after they meet some homeless woman on the street.
They start to believe. They start to feel.
So uh ya thats like the first kind of chapter thingy. I hope it's good and you guys like it im doing actually better than i thougt i would with this book so i think that this is going to be an even better one.
Also of it kind of wasn't clear the first paragraph was a narrarator, then Lucy then a narrarator again. But the book will go back in forth between Lucy, Dylan, and Tyler. Also for a cast thinking Dylan O'brien (for Dylan ofcourse), Tyler Posey (for Tyler) but i don't know about who for Lucy. What do you guys think?
