I couldn't sleep after what happened today. We decided that Katrina could stay and she helped us with our food telling us that everything here was actually edible, of course we made her test it all first. We found out that one of the tree people that we had upstairs had the virus and was crazy. We decided to get rid of him since Katrina was here now. Well actually we didn't decide Carly and everyone else decide for me, I wasn't fully convinced on the idea. I got out of my bed and walked down to first floor, Carly and Katrina slept down here on the couches. Carly looks so beautiful when she's sleeping, I feel bad for doing this. For lying to her, but if I don't do this then I can't help her, I need to protect her, and everyone else too. I took a deep breathe and grabbed my pack- I was bringing a long rope, water, food, a flashlight, and a smaller rope (i also had my gun and knife but i had the knife in my boot and my gun in my hand.). I walked over to Katrina and grabbed her arm, I placed my hand over her mouth so that she couldn't scream.
"It's me!" I whispered. "Bellamy."
"Bellamy!"
"Shh! Come with me." She followed me outside. "Come on we're leaving." I say as I start walking.
"Wait what?" She asks. I stop walking and turn around to face her.
"Come on we're leaving. We're going to your father."
"No, I thought you weren't going. You promised Carly that you-"
"Yeah, I know what I said." I say. "But I need to do this. Now come one we have to get there before dark tomorrow, you said it was about a days trip?"
"Yeah but-"
"No. No buts. Come on." I start walking again.
"Why do you need to do this so bad?" She asks as she starts walking.
"I need to get back home, OK?" I say.
"Why?" She asks, getting even more annoying.
"I just do!" I yell. "Why do you not want to go back so bad?"
"You know why." She says quietly.
"Why do they want to kill you, Katrina?"
"I don't know! why don't you ask them!"
"OK." I say.
"What?" She asks.
"Alright, I will ask them." She sighs in defeat.
The trip was mostly silent after that. Until a little after the sun came up. "So is Carly like your girlfriend?" She asks me.
"No." I reply.
She chuckles. "Well, not after this she isn't you mean." I stare at her for a minute while still walking, unable to reply to her. She was kind of right, Carly would never forgive me after this.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, we were almost there. "Turn around." I ordered.
"Wait, what?" She questioned. I pulled out my small rope.
"Turn around and give me your hands." I ordered again.
"Bellamy, i-"
"No. Just do it, it has to be this way."
"Bellamy, please." She whispered. I pulled out my gun.
"I don't want to have to do this Katrina. Turn around and give me your hands." Hesitantly, she did as said. "Walk. and take me to your father." I had my hand on her arm and a gun pressed to her side, as we walked through her camp.
"Katrina!" I heard a man yell from behind me. We spun around to see who it was.
"Daddy!" She screamed. Well i'm guessing that was her dad. He and two other men with guns and large knives started to run to us.
"Stop!" I yelled to them." Or I shoot her!" They stopped. A crowd started to form around us, as children and men and women ran out of they're houses. "I have an offer for you." I called to them. "I give you Katrina-unharmed, and in return you take my people back to our planet-unharmed."
"Or how about we kill you and take back the girl." One of the men yelled.
"Yes you could do that but who's to say that we don't have more of your people in captivity. If you kill me now! Then they all die including her! Who's to say we don't have gunmen in your trees. Ready to kill at any moment." I could see that they were getting uncomfortable with my lie, searching the trees hoping to find my friends who weren't actually there.
"Alright you have yourself deal." Katrina's father said. The two men with him started to argue with him. "Enough!" He yelled to them, they stopped. "You bring your people here in four days with your things and you bring my people as well and we will take you home."
"How do i know that your not lying? That you won't just kill us when we get here!"
"How do I know that you're not lying to me? That you don't actually have any of my people and that your people are safe and sound at your camp right now?"
"Alright, fair enough. You have yourself a deal." I called to them. "Just one more thing... Katrina comes with me until four days from now."
"No! we have our original deal you give me ALL of my people and I let you go home, free and clear! That was our deal!"
"Yes but you see, I need to know that you will keep that deal and not invade my camp- because we all know that Katrina here is the one you care about the most. And frankly sir, I don't really remember how to get back. Now don't you worry Katrina will look exactly how she does now. Now you have a nice day." I say as i start to walk Katrina back to our camp.
Holy shit did that just happen.
