After making sure Bellamy was finally resting I walked outside to get some fresh air. It hasn't even been a week, and already we had 37 people dead. And along with all the bad news, there is a girl crying over by a tree. I go up to her and ask her whats wrong.
"I miss my mom." Said the little girl. I sat down next to her.
"How old are you, sweety?" I asked. She looked pretty young and someone around my age wouldn't be crying about their mother.
"I'm 12." She said. "Your Carly right?" I nodded. "I'm Hanna. Carly, are we ever going to go home?"
"I really hope so Hanna." I said. "Now come on don't be so sad you'll see her real soon ok. Now go and play with some other girls." She got up and ran away to a group of little girls around her age.
"Do you believe that?" Someone said and I jumped. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." It was Oliver.
"It's ok. And you know… I'm not sure if we will ever go home. But I do really hope so." I say trying to make him feel better. It's like I'm a therapist or something.
"Are you missing anyone, any sibling? Your parents? That boyfriend you won't tell me about?" He asks. I look at him and he's smiling.
"For one, I am an only child so I have no siblings. Two, my dad took off when I was young and my mom and I were never that close. And three, I don't have a secret boyfriend." I say.
"One, that sucks. Two, that also sucks. And three, not so sure that's true because your beautiful." He said.
…I was shocked. No one had ever called me beautiful. "Um, thanks?" I say. I met his bright blue eyes.
"It's true. You are beautiful. Any guy would be lucky to have you." He said. My eyes were wide and I was kind of scared, but it was a nice feeling- more like butterflies I guess.
He leaned in, I didn't know whats happening. His lips touched mine and we kissed.
Wait, what am I doing? I don't like Oliver, I like Bellamy. Oh my god, I like Bellamy. I thought. I put my hands on Oliver's chest and pushed him away. "I'm sorry." I said, and I got up.
I heard something fall and make a pretty loud noise. I looked over at the shelter where it had came from. Bellamy was standing there. He saw.
