A video camera plays to show Alice and Naruto's faces. They both look at the camera. As they talk, videos are shown what Umbrella has been doing.

Alice: My name is Alice. And this is my son, Naruto. I worked for the Umbrella Corporation, the largest and most powerful commercial entity in the world. I was head of security at a secret high-tech facility called the Hive. A giant underground laboratory developing experimental viral weaponry.

Naruto: They were working on a dangerous virus call, the T-Virus. I lived in the Hive while my mother comes see me every day. Everything was okay, but there was an incident. The virus escaped and everybody died.

They show videos of what happened in the Hive. The videos show the people who worked at the Hive dying. They all scream as they die.

Alice: Trouble was, they didn't stay dead.

Then, they show the people coming back as zombies.

Naruto: The T-virus reanimated their bodies, turning them into the undead. A team was sent there to see what has happened, but they walked into a deadly situation.

The videos then show what has happened to the team. The zombies all growl as they rip them apart. Then, videos show Naruto and Alice walking out of the Hive, with Rain and Matt.

Alice: But we survived. Ourselves and two others. An environmentalist named Matt and a soldier name Rain. When we emerged, we were seized by Umbrella Scientists. We were separated from Matt.

Videos then show the scientists entering the mansion and they take Naruto and Matt while Alice and Rain fight them.

Scientist: He's mutating. I want him in the Nemesis Program.

Scientist 2: Is this the boy?

Scientist: Yes. This is him.

Naruto: (Weakly) Mommy...

Alice: Naruto!

Then it shows Alice and Rain being sedated and they were captured.

Scientist: Take them to the Raccoon City facility and assemble the team. We're reopening The Hive. I want to know what went on down there.

The video then changes to show Alice and Naruto's eyes.

Alice: We thought we had survived the horror.

Both: But we were wrong.
