The group are now on a bridge, still on their way to the school. As they walk, Jill sees more cameras on the poles on the bridge. She frowns at this.
Jill: What if there is no way out of this city and he's watching us on these cameras like this is some kind of sick game?
Suddenly, Alice and Naruto stop walking. They both have serious looks on their faces. Everyone looks at them.
Jill: What is it?
Peyton: What's going on?
Alice: Wait.
Peyton: Sunrise ain't gonna wait.
Naruto: No. Hold on. There's something down there.
He looks down across the bridge. Everyone looks too.
Rebecca: Where?
Naruto: (Points at some pillars, just a few yards from a burning car) There.
Richard: I don't see anything down there. There's nothing.
Alice: That doesn't alter the fact that there is something down there.
Peyton: (Annoyed, takes out his pistol) I'm getting sick of this bullcrap!
Jill: (Tries to stop him) Peyton!
Brad: Peyton, hold on, man! Think this through!
Brad walks to him to try and stop him. Then suddenly, a machine gun fires. It's Nemesis. He fires his machine gun at Peyton and Brad. They both get shot in the chests. They both groan, and fall down on the ground dead. Jill, Rebecca, and Richard look at them.
Jill: No!
They all fire their guns at Nemesis, and he fires back at them. In the Umbrella tent, a woman looks at the monitor, and sees that Nemesis has found more S.T.A.R.S. members.
Woman: (To Cain) He's located five more S.T.A.R.S. members.
Cain looks at the monitor, and sees that Brad and Peyton have been taken care of. And now, Jill, Rebecca, and Richard are Nemesis' current targets. Back on the bridge, Terri is ducking down from the gunfire, and Jill, Rebecca take cover behind a truck, and Alice, Naruto, and Rain look down to see Nemesis as he stops firing.
Alice: Nemesis. (Looks at Jill) Run. Just go! Rain, go with them!
Rain nods, and the group runs off. Naruto and Alice look down, and come into Nemesis' sights. Nemesis sees them, and scans them. Threat: Moderate. He growls at them. In the tent, everyone sees Naruto and Alice.
Woman: Primary targets are identified.
Cain: Ladies and gentlemen, this is what we've been waiting for. Confirm at 2:18 and 27 seconds. The Nemesis Program is now fully activated.
On the bridge, Alice and Naruto run to the railing. Nemesis growls more as Naruto and Alice jump over the railing, and land below the bridge. They both glare at Nemesis. They take out their weapons, and charge at him. They open fire at him as they run towards him. The bullets hit him, but he just stands still. Alice jumps on a block, and jumps at Nemesis. He then swings his arm, and hits Alice. She hits one of the pillars, and lands on her legs. Naruto jumps on the block, and jump kicks at Nemesis. Naruto kicks him in the head, but Naruto then falls down as his kick was useless on Nemesis' head. Alice and Naruto look at Nemesis, and he aims his gun at them. Their eyes widen as he's about to fire. They both jump behind the pillar as he opens fire. He hits the pillar as they take cover.
Naruto: That thing is heavily armored. Bullets can't hurt it.
Alice: Come on, we need to go!
They move as Nemesis comes around to see them running. He open fires on them again, but they dodge the bullets as they run. They come across a fence. They both look behind, and see Nemesis is about to fire a rocket on them.
Kurama: Kit, jump!
Naruto hears her, and he and his mother jump over the fence really high in the air, and they both land on a police car. They turn around, and see Nemesis firing at a rocket at them. They both then jump again to avoid the rocket. The rocket hits the police car, causing an explosion. They jump a few yards across from the explosion, and right by the police station. They turn around, and see Nemesis jumping over the fence, and crushing a police car as he lands on it. They both run to the police station as he open fires on them again. They both jump through a window, and enter an office room. Naruto accidentally cuts his arm from the glass. They both get up, and run out of the office, and into the hallway. As they do, Nemesis breaks through the wall, and enters the police station.
Naruto: Oh, come on!
They both run down the hall, and around the corner. They look ahead, and see a garbage disposal shoot door. Alice then shoots at the wall below the door as Nemesis comes around the corner too and growls as he aims at them. Naruto frowns, and slides down on his knees. He fires his pistols at Nemesis' legs, trying to slow him down. His mother runs out of ammo, and drops her guns as they slide through the hole below the door. They slide down the shoot. Alice accidentally bends her middle finger. She cries out in pain as she feels it snapping. They both land in a dumpster. They both look up in the shoot, and see Nemesis aiming his rocket launcher at them. He fires a rocket. They both tip the dumpster, and just in time before the rocket explodes behind the dumpster. Alice covers Naruto to protect him. The flames die out, and all is quiet. They then hear Nemesis leaving upstairs. They both get out of the dumpster, and walk to a door. They slide down to sit down. Naruto looks at the cut on his arm, and Alice sees her right hand middle finger bend straight up. She takes a deep breath as she grabs it, and straights it back with a crack. She exhales from the pain. Naruto walks to her, and hugs her. She hugs him back as they both try to get their breaths back.
Meanwhile, with Jill, Rebecca, and Richard, they find a truck, and Jill is trying to hot-wire it. Then, someone bangs on the passengers door. They all jump and gasp. Jill points her gun, but sees it's Terri and Rain. Rain gets in the back, and Terri gets in the passenger seat. Jill exhales, and has depressed look on her face after seeing two of her friends being killed in front of her. Terri looks at her.
Terri: Look, I'm--I'm sorry about your friends.
Jill: (Looks at her, and takes a deep breath) Let's just get to the school and find these kids.
Rebecca: But wait. What about Naruto and his mother? We can't just leave them. What if they need our help?
Rain: They can handle themselves. I know them all well.
She continues to hot-wire the truck. She then manages to get it started. They all sigh in relief. But then, Peyton and Brad suddenly appear, and they're both zombies now. They both growl at them as Peyton tries to bite Jill.
Jill: Peyton!
Rebecca: No, Peyton! Don't! Brad, stop!
Richard: Girls, it's not them anymore! We have to put them down!
Richard then rolls down the window, and punches Brad in the face as Jill pushes Peyton away. They both get back up, and limp towards Jill. Jill and Rain both aim their guns at their foreheads, and shoot them. They both fall down on the ground with bullet holes in their foreheads. Jill just looks at them, and then closes the driver seat door as Richard rolls up his window. Jill then drives away, leaving Peyton and Brad's bodies behind. Can the group get to the school, and find the kids before the undead, and Umbrella can take them all out?
