"Wow, look at you dressing all fancy," I told Kaylee.

She smiled, and ran her hands down the tight, white dress. "Do you think it's okay? I'm so nervous right now."

"You look amazing, Calum will love it."

"Yeah?"

"Definitely. I'm surprised he even asked you out at all, he's been so hesitant about it lately."

Her jaw dropped. "You knew!"

"Of course I knew! I'm the one that told him about you in the first place."

"I feel like I'm gonna embarrass myself."

I laughed. "Calum would be the one to embarrass himself if anyone did. He's been so nervous ever since he told me he was going to finally make a move.. Three weeks ago."

She rolled her eyes and chose to ignore it. "I just really like him, ya know? And I don't want to screw this up.."

"Geez, you sound just like Rachel," Madi said.

I glared at her, and she laughed.

"I'm just saying."

I rolled my eyes and looked back at Kaylee. "He really likes you too."

"Really?"

"Yeah, he never shuts up about you."

"He sounds like Michael."

"Okay, I'm gonna start having Ashton over all the time so I can start making fun of your guys' relationship."

"There's not much of a relationship to make fun of."

"What?" Kaylee and I both asked. She shrugged, but there was a knock at the door before she could say anything. The three of us walked to the door and Calum looked really surprised to see all of us there.

"Hey," Calum said, already smiling as his eyes landed on Kaylee.

"Hi."

"Ready to go?"

"Uh yeah." She gave us a small wave and then left with Calum. I turned my attention back Madi, who was already walking toward the couch.

"What's going on with you and Ashton?"

"I don't know," she sighed, sitting down. I sat in the chair across from her. "We're basically like you and Michael right now."

"I don't know if that's good or bad."

"It's bad for me! I don't know how it's working for you so I can't answer that, but I want to be in a relationship with Ashton and I don't know what's taking him so freaking long."

"I don't know either, Mads."

She sighed again and sat there for a few seconds before looking up at me again. "I'm gonna ask him."

"You're gonna ask who, what?"

She stood up and started rushing around to get her keys. "I'm going to ask Ashton what's taking him so long."

"Uh.. Are you sure?" I asked, following her.

"Yes!"

"Maybe he just needs like another day-"

"Don't care. I need to figure out what's going on," she slid her shoes on and opened the door, revealing Michael.

"Hi Mad-"

"Can talk, gotta go."

She walked past him and I sighed.

"Is she okay?"
