Calum's POV

I looked up as I heard the music begin playing. I saw Michael and Rae walk down first, and I was kind of surprised to see them walking together. She smiled and gave me a small, barely noticeable wave and I returned the smile while giving her a nod. She laughed and looked back up at Michael. The look in her eyes completely changed from when she looked at me. The way she looked at him was.. Hard to describe, but Michael looked at her the same way.

They separated and then Madi and Ashton were a little bit behind them, with Jen and Luke behind them. I could feel my heart pound harder with every couple I saw. Our families and friends stood up, and I didn't think it was possible for my heart to beat any faster. I scanned the familiar faces standing by my side and my eyes landed on Michael.

"Don't look at me, look at your beautiful bride."

I laughed and finally turned to look at Kaylee. She was smiling the biggest smile I had ever seen on her, and it immediately calmed me down. Michael was right; Kaylee looked absolutely beautiful. The wind was blowing slightly, moving the sheer overlay, and hair. She finally made it to me, and gave her dad a hug before taking my hand.

"Hey," she smiled.

"Hi."

"Look at us," she laughed. "It's our wedding day and the first thing we say to each other is 'hi.'"

"I love you."

"I love you."

She gave her flowers to Rae so she could take both my hands. I could barely focus on anything the pastor was saying, because all I could focus on was Kaylee. It was like everything was in slow motion when I was looking at her, but like it all happened so fast... The next thing I knew, my lips were on hers, feeling the rush of emotion that always came when I kissed her.

"I give you, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Calum Hood."

Everyone cheered and clapped, and Rae gave Kaylee her flowers back. We walked back down the aisle together and lined up as we waited for the rest of the wedding party to meet up with us. It didn't take long and we said our hellos and thank yous. And then Rae's grandparents, who know Kaylee so well stopped at her and Michael.

"You girls looked so beautiful today," her grandmother said.

"Oh, thank you."

"And this boy you were walking with?"

"This is Michael. He's one of Calum's best friends and he's also in the band."

"And your boyfriend," she stated.

"Oh, he's uh-"

"Well what's wrong with ya boy?" her grandfather laughed. "Don't you know she's an amazing girl?"

"I do, sir."

Rae blushed and started looking really uncomfortable.

"I'm predicting you two to be the next ones that are getting married," her grandmother said.

Michael blushed, and my eyes narrowed.

"Okay, well.. It was great to see you guys again, and I'll see you later, at the reception."

"Of course. I love you honey."

"Love you, too."

They left and Michael and Rae both took a deep breath.

"Yeah Michael, don't you know you got a great girl there?" I teased him.

"I'm anticipating you save the date now," Kaylee said.

"Shut. Up. If it wasn't your wedding day, I would so hit you." Michael told me.

"Diddo." Rae said.

Kaylee and I both laughed and continued to say thank you to the rest of the guests.

Michael's POV

"Okay, can we please have the wedding part out on the dance floor, to join the bride and groom?" the DJ asked.

I took Rae's hand and we walked out to the dance floor. Kaylee and Calum had already done their first dance, and we've done a couple more dances, and Rachel's done a couple drinks... So she had her hair down now, but she still looked absolutely gorgeous. I stopped once we were kind of off to the side, but not too far away so it wouldn't look weird. I slid my hands around her waist and pulled her closer to me. It must've take her a little by surprise, because she stumbled and fell into me.. Not that I cared; I wanted her as close to me as possible. She finally connected her hands around the back of my neck and stood chest to chest with me. We started moving back and forth, creating a steady rhythm.

"Still as graceful as ever, I see."

"Whatever! You know why I tripped."

"Maybe I do," I smirked.

She giggled and put her head against my chest. "Sorry about my grandparents. Sometimes they really don't have a filter."

"Don't worry about it. I actually thought they were really adorable."

"They are, but still. I know it made me really uncomfortable."

"I thought that was really adorable."

She pulled at my hair slightly, and I laughed.

"So, can we talk now?"

"Do you think we can do this in the timespan of four minutes?"

"We can try."

"Okay."

"So..."

"Do you think we should start over?"

"Start over?"

"Yeah, and maybe like.. Start as friends or something, or at least if we start a relationship we actually go slow."

My heart sank and my pocket started feeling really heavy. "Go slow?"

"Yeah."

I nodded and stopped moving. I took her hand and shook it. "I'm Michael Clifford, and I'm in love with you."

She stared at me, obviously shocked at what I said.

"I don't know, I just feel like I've known you for a year and half and I've loved you from the moment I first saw you."

She didn't say anything so I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out what had been weighing on my mind all night.

"And because I feel like we've known each other for a year and a half, I think it's about time I do this." I held out the ring in front of her, and watched as her eyes started tearing up. "We've been through a lot, and I don't want you to forget about it, but I do want you to realize that we've become stronger out of it.. As cliché as that sounds."

She laughed, and wiped at her eyes.

"So, what do you say?"

"I've been in love with you since I first saw you too, and I will absolutely marry you."

I smiled and slid the ring on her finger. We went back to our previous dancing position. "Do you think we're going too slow?"

She laughed. "I wouldn't worry about it."

"Good."

"Are we really going to be one of those cliché couples that got together at a wedding?"

"No way baby. We're completely original."

She smiled and bent down to kiss her. Our lips met and it was the most perfect moment ever, and I know we'll have more moments like this.

"I love you."

"I love you."
