Kaylee's POV

"Kaylee, now is not a good time for you to be freaking out," Jen said, while rubbing my back in an effort to comfort me.

"My maid of honor isn't here yet and you're telling me not to freak out?"

"In case you haven't noticed, we're still hours away from the actual ceremony," Madi said.

"She should be here, right now."

"Oh my god! I am so freaking sorry I'm late!" Rachel said as she ran in the room. "I was still unpacking a couple things and then I forgot my dress so I had to go back and then Niall couldn't find the hotel-"

"Rachel," I laughed. "It's fine, you're here now."

She sighed and came over to give me a hug. "I'm so sorry I've been kind of MIA for the past two months. I just had some stuff to figure out with where I was going to live-"

"Seriously, don't even worry about it. I'm assuming you found an apartment?"

"Yes, and all of you can come and see it after you get back from your honeymoon."

I smiled. "Thank you so much for being here."

"I wouldn't miss this for the world."

I pulled away and took a deep breath. "Okay, let's start getting ready."

I walked over to my hair and makeup artist and sat down in the chair in front of her. Rachel sat in the chair next to me as the other hair and makeup artist I hired started setting up.

"So... Do you feel less stressed out since you left?" I asked.

"Why are we talking about me? You're getting married to Calum today! FYI, I'm taking full responsibility for setting you guys up."

I laughed. "That's fine, but I haven't seen or heard from you in two months and I need to know how you're feeling before the wedding begins."

"I feel a lot less stressed, yeah."

"Good, and... Michael?"

Her expression went blank before she finally smiled. "I'm sure he's fine."

"That's not what I meant."

"She meant, have you talked to him?" Madi clarified.

"Oh, um.. No."

"What? You're walking with him!"

"I know, I just had a lot of unpacking and buying to do, so I didn't really want to add Michael in yet."

"It's not going to be awkward is it?"

"I hope not."

I laughed. "Oh my god. I really hope everything turns out okay."

"I'm sure it will."

"I meant with the two of you."

She sighed. "What's the obsession with me and Michael about?"

"We know that you guys should be together, but currently, you aren't," Jen smiled.

She bit her lip. "Well, then you guys should be happy to know that I'm not over him, and I still love him."

"Good, tell that to him," Madi laughed.

Rachel laughed too and shook her head. "There's no way I'm going to tell him I love him."

"Why not?" I asked.

"Because I need to know that he loves me too."

"He does."

"I need to hear it from him."

I frowned. I swear, if he doesn't tell her tonight, I'm going to kill him.

"Okay, time for makeup," Rachel's hair and makeup artists said.

"Okay, are you ready?" I asked from the other side of the door.

"Uh, yes!" I heard them yell.

I took a deep breath and opened it. They gasped once they took in my complete wedding day look. My hair was as beachy, and messy as it could get with a string of diamonds for a head piece. My dress looked absolutely perfect, and I could not be more excited or nervous.

"You look... Gorgeous," Rae said.

"Absolutely beautiful," Jen agreed.

"Obviously the best one out of all of us," Madi said.

I laughed. "But you guys look gorgeous too."

I was very satisfied with the pale pink dresses. They were short, and from the waist up, it was all embellishment. I decided to have their hair up in ponytails with braids as headbands. Their makeup was a complete mirror of mine. Brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and of course, mascara.

"Are you nervous?" Rae asked.

"Just a little. Mostly because.. Well, it's my wedding day and it's crazy to think about. But I'm more excited than nervous. I mean, I'm finally getting married to Calum!"

They laughed and Rae came up to give me a hug. "I'm so happy for you."

"Thank you. And who knows, maybe you'll be the next one to walk down the aisle."

She rolled her eyes. "Don't even say that."

I laughed, and looked at the other girls. "Are we ready?"

They nodded and we grabbed anything we thought we might need before leaving.

Michael's POV

I glanced around the small area where the wedding party was supposed to wait. The wedding was only a few minutes away, and Calum just started walking to his spot. Luke had gone to the car where Kaylee was to tell her she could come down. Ashton hit my shoulder and pointed. The first person I saw was obviously Kaylee. She looked absolutely gorgeous, and she was laughing, how could your attention not go to her? Then my eyes shifted over to the person who was making her laugh.

Rachel.

I could feel my heart steadily increase.. Not because I was nervous about seeing her, no. It was because she was laughing and she looked.. Beautiful. The feeling in the pit of my stomach and the aching in my chest only proved to me that I really was undoubtedly in love with her. Her eyes moved away from Kaylee and landed on me. She smiled and I stopped breathing for second. They finally got down to where Ashton and I were waiting and Rae waited for Kaylee to adjust her dress before she handed the flowers over to Kaylee.

"You look amazing, Kaylee," I told her.

"Thank you," she smiled and I knew that she just wanted to run down the aisle so she could see Calum. "You don't look too bad yourself."

I laughed and she turned to talk to the other boys who had just finished greeting Rachel. She turned to face me and smiled again.

"Hey stranger," she smirked.

"H-hi," I stuttered. Go figure she's the one that can play it cool and I'm so nervous.

She giggled. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah, I guess we don't really have time to talk before this..."

"Nope.. But we have after."

I smiled and leaned forward to kiss her cheek. "I see you got your wish for no shoes."

She smiled even more than already and started dancing a little. "Of course I did."

"Okay," Kaylee said. "You guys have to start walking, like now."

We nodded and laughed. We lined up and she hooked her arm through mine, moving as close as possible without it looking weird. As nonchalantly as I could, I moved my hand to my pocket to make sure my future was in there... It was. The music started playing and Rae gave me one last look before we both took a step forward.
