Kaylee's POV
"Are you sure she's going to be willing to do that?" I asked Calum.
"Nope, not at all. But I just want to ask her."
I smiled and continued to look for the perfect dress. I finally decided on a Stella Mccartney asymmetric lace dress in beige. I pulled it up and walked out to Calum. "Can you zip this?"
He blushed slightly, but nodded and did it.
"Thank you."
I tugged the sleeve down slightly and then turned to look at him. "I need to change," I said, already walking to the pile of clothes on the bed.
Calum grabbed my hand and lightly pulled me back to him. "What are you talking about?"
"I feel way too underdressed."
"You're in Stella McCartney, you don't get more dressed up than that. You look beautiful."
I blushed and bit my lip before turning away like I usually do.
He skillfully slid his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. "I'm serious. If anything, I'm underdressed."
"You look amazing Cal, always do."
He smiled, and I tired not to blush as I realized he still hadn't completely buttoned his shirt. But it's Cal, and he obviously noticed that I noticed, because he laughed and kissed me before finishing buttoning his white dress shirt. Damn he looked good. White button up shirt, black dress pants, and black shoes. He looked beyond good. After he finished getting ready, and I slid my nude heels on, he took my hand and led me out of the room.
"So are you going to tell me where we're going?"
"When have I ever told you where we're going?"
"True.. Can I at least get a hint this time?"
"No!" he laughed.
"Why not?"
"Because I want to surprise you."
"What if I don't like it?"
He smirked. "You always love it."
"I know. You're so amazing I just can't help it."
"You're amazing."
I blushed. I don't know why I blush so easily when it comes to Calum... It's the accent, that's gotta be it.
We walked around Sydney for a little bit, and I couldn't believe that I've lived here for three years now. I can't believe it's been a year since that whole Niall, Michael, and Rachel love triangle. But a lot can happen in a year... And a lot did happen.
Michael and Rachel broke up. That was heartbreaking for everyone. Things just weren't the same with Rae gone. I mean, she still calls and visits me, but Michael can't be here. Although, instead of anger like it used to be, it's more out of sadness. I know she misses him a lot, but she refuses to admit it.
And Michael. He's just a mess. He regrets ending things between them more and more every day. He pretty much calls her everyday, and she used to answer, but that's stopped. Michael hardly says anything anymore. He basically moans out of sadness whenever he sees her tweet something, or whenever he knows it's a picture she's taken that's on the cover of Cosmopolitan. He literally just stares at them in the checkout line now.
So yeah, Rae's career really took off, and now she works for Cosmopolitan. She takes all of the pictures, and she couldn't be happier. Well, I'm sure if Michael was still in the picture she would be.
