Well to start out this rant on author's notes, let's have my very own!

Thank you all so much for 40+ hearts and 1,000+ reads on this shitty book! It's just so overwhelming to get all this support and comments on this book! Though I should be quite frank, take the advice I give to you in the comments with a grain of salt. I'm not right all the time, and I say a lot of dumb shit. So on to the part you guys wanted!

Let's say you found the best fanfic, the writing is flawless, the visuals are amazing, the characters are the best. You get a notification of said fanfic being updated, but all it is, is just an author's note telling how the story is on a hiatus. Shit like that makes me hate an author. I understand if you have issues and other shit going on and you can't update, but that is like a knife to the fucking heart my dude.

I absolutely hate it when a fanfiction has more author's notes instead of actual chapters. This is why I appreciate fanfiction.net's rule on no author note only chapters, but like the layout is so cluttered in my opinion, and you can't find reader inserts on that site so I don't use it.

Even though I do this myself, I hate it when an author's note is so sappy, like I get it that you are appreciative of all the positive feedback, but I want to read more of the damned story your writing, not what you write in you goddamn diary.

Though of course some author's notes help a lot. For example, you could have a translation there, an interpretation of what's going on n shit.

Back to the negative, I hate it when there's an author's note in parentheses just after someone said something. Like I don't care about your reaction to writing the dialogue, just give me the fucking dialogue.

This is a pretty shitty chapter about author's notes, but hey author's notes are pretty shitty.

I might do another reader insert chapter again, but I don't have much more ideas about what I should put. Anyways, see you later my dudes!
