Now I may or may not get somewhat preachy in this, but oh well, this shit has been on my mind for awhile and it kinda fits with the shit in this book so I decided to let out all my frustrations with yaoi.
Putting this out there, I'm not a yaoi fan. Never really been one, never really plan on being one. I mean I like gay relationships, its just the way that yaoi portrays theirs which puts me off. Like I wouldn't mind reading something like "My brother's husband" and other cleaner bara mangas, but yaoi just puts me off. Like i want to read killing stalking, but i also don't want to look at ass rape, yall feel me right? Like i may like certain aspects in yaoi, but the portrayal isn't the best.
For example, a lot of yaoi would literally be fifty shades if it was two guys. Literally the fact that these couples are basically straight makes it not feel like a gay relationship. Like i wanna see two very masculine doods in a relationship in yaoi. Plus the constant need of the top and bottoms personas are dum. Like not every sub is quiet, meek, innocent and whatever the hell else. And not all doms are forward, blunt, sadist, and whatever else.
Anyway, my point here is that yaoi tends to have very bland and stale characters. Sure maybe not all, but from the ones I kinda know, the characters are about as shitty as Fairy Tails(And oh boy do i fucken hate those characters lemme tell you).
I thought this damn chapter would have been longer, but like many other chapters, i literally forget everything i was gonna talk about as soon as I start typing out this shit. Kmn. I'm trying to figure out the best way to keep this book kinda alive cuz reads heal my soul. Anyways for 200 hearts, which is somehow approaching, I was thinking about doing a reboot of the 60 heart one cuz a lot of the shit in my library has changed, I may put a list of some shit that is still great, but yea, throwing out ideas.
