Addis POV-

*one week later*

Jc hasn't texted or called me since the day we went to the park. I wonder if he does this to all girls, I thought. I didn't want to let it get to me, so I tried to stop thinking about him.

I decided to go hangout with my sister because she always puts me in a good mood.

"Hey Chloe! Whatcha doin?" I asked when I walked in her pink room.

"Nothing. It's so boring here. I don't have any friends."

"Don't worry, once school starts you'll make tons of friends! So do you wanna film a video with me? We could do the sibling tag if you want..." Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.

"YEAH!"

"Haha, okay go sit on my bed while I grab my tripod." Chloe was out of her room and into mine in less then 5 seconds.

"Hey guys, it's Addi and- what are you doing?" I laughed when I noticed that Chloe put a blanket over her head.

"I don't want people to know who I am yet!" She whispered.

"You have an interesting way of thinking child. Anyways! Today I'm joined with my little sister, take off the blanket now, Chloe! We're going to be doing the sibling tag! I have 25 questions for both of us to answer about our relationship and things like that. So let's get started!" Chloe was extremely hyper throughout the whole video, it was kinda cute.

After I finished taking down my camera Chloe left and I got on Instagram. My phone vibrated and saw I got a text from Jc.

*end of texts*

I started getting ready when my someone knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

"Hey I'm, wait, where are you going?" My mom asked.

"I'm just going to Panera with a friend. I'll ride my Penny. Why?"

"You made a friend!? Honey I told you that you would!" My mom ran over and gave me a hug.

"Mom stop I'm straightening my hair.." She pulled away.

"Sorry, but Chloe and I are going to the store. Don't forget your phone. Love you." She kissed me on the forehead and walked out of my room.

When I was done in the bathroom I put on a pair of Abercrombie Jean shorts, a white tank top and neon blue Vans. To go with my white and blue theme, I pulled half of my hair up and clipped it with a blue bow.

*at Panera*

"So Panera is your favorite restaurant, but you get Mac and cheese?" Jc asked me with a smile.

"Yes! It's so good though." He reached over the table with his fork and took a few noodles. "Jc! You have your food, I have mine!"

"Wow, that is really good." He concluded after taking a sample of mine.

"Well get your own next time then!" I teased. I threw away our trash then sat back down. We made small talk for a little bit, then Jc stopped talking and stared at me with a grin on his face.

"What? Why are you staring at me?" I questioned.

"Because I've never seen a girl in my whole life, who's as gorgeous as you."

"Thanks, Jc. But I'm definitely not gorgeous." We sat in silence for a few seconds.

"I can't hold it in anymore, Addi,"he spoke as if he was angry.

"What are you talking about?"

"Addi, I'm in love with you. Your smile, your face, your generosity, your personality in general really. Everything about you is just so... perfect. I don't care if you don't agree with me, but it's true."

My eyes started watering. Nobody's ever made me feel this good about myself before. "Jc I... I Don't know what to say..."

"You don't have to say anything. That was stupid of me. I'm sorry..." He looked ashamed.

"No no, it wasn't stupid. I guess I'm trying to say.. I love you too. I have since I ran into you that day." I wiped the tears from my eyes and got up to sit next to him. I leaned my head on his shoulder and mumbled, "Nobody has ever said anything that nice to me before. Thank you." I looked up into Jc's dark brown eyes, and he looked into mine. He leaned closer to me and before I knew it, we were kissing. It felt magical. I pulled away and Jc apologized.

"No don't be sorry, I liked it. It's just that we're in a public restaurant so..."

"Oh okay. So are we like... Dating now?" Jc asked.

I smiled and laughed. "Yes Jc, we're dating." His eyes lit up like a little kid on Christmas when they got the present they wanted really bad. He threw his arms up in the air, pushed me out of booth and shouted (literally shouted in Panera), "I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!!!"

I wasn't embarrassed though because it was cute. I started cracking up and told him to stop. With that, he picked me up and ran with me in his arms, bridal style, out of the restaurant.

He started to set me down but I stopped him. I felt so safe in his arms.

"No, don't put me down." I protested.

"I have to go, Addi. I'm sorry."

"But Jccccccccc," I moaned.

"Sorry baby. I have to go meet up with the guys. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" He said as he set me down.

"Okay. I love you."

"Love you too," Jc said as he kissed my temple.

I dropped my penny board to the ground, put my headphones in my ears and listened to my favorite country singer, Luke Bryan, while riding home in the best mood ever.
