Addis POV-
On the day of my 19th birthday I woke up to a bunch of balloons in my room. I laughed at the sight of a Dora one. Looking at my alarm clock, I realized it was still early in the morning but I got out of bed anyway. I threw on a sweatshirt of Jc's that was big on me, causing my spandex to be covered up. After throwing my hair up into a messy bun I grabbed my phone and went downstairs. I went in the kitchen and saw my mom and Chloe making French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. They noticed me walk in right away.
"Happy birthday honey!" My mom said as she came over to hug me.
"Happy birthday sissy!" Chloe screamed.
"Thanks guys." I said and hugged my mom.
"Breakfast is almost ready, then you have somewhere special to be at 3:00." My mom explained.
"Where?" I asked,
"It's a surprise, but I'm positive you'll love it." I honestly hated surprises, the suspense just kills me. I would much rather know right away, but I decided that this would be too good of a surprise to ruin, even though I had no clue what it was.
At 2:00 I started to get ready, but had no idea how to.
"Mom, what do I wear?"
"Something cute, but comfy. Nothing too fancy."
"Okay," I decided on a solid black romper with my white vans. I curled my hair, pulled half of it up, then placed a pink bow on the back of my head. I didn't put a lot of makeup on, like usual, so I did smokey eyeshadow to make my eyes stand out.
"Is this good?" I asked my mom when I looked presentable.
"Beautiful." She replied with, which made me smile. Somebody rang the doorbell so I went to answer it. Jc stood on the porch, with a HUGE teddy bear in his arms. The bear was dark brown and had a red bow on its right ear with a bunch of white hearts on it.
"OH MY GOD ITS A HUGE BEAR!" I exclaimed, surprised.
"Yes it is! Happy birthday, princess." Jc said, smiling. I set the bear on the ground so I could hug him then picked up the bear and invited Jc inside.
"Thank you baby. It's amazing."
"I picked out that one because it has a bow in its ear, and well, you kinda have an obsession with bows." I laughed at his reasoning for getting this one.
"Yes I do. It's perfect. I'm gonna set this on my bed, I'll be back." I ran upstairs and heard my mom and Jc talking.
"Thank you for letting me take Addi on her birthday, Katherine." Jc said. What a gentleman.
"No problem. I know she's going to love it." My mom said back. When I got back downstairs Jc and I said our goodbyes then left.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see." He said with a smirk.
"Jc I hate surprisesss."
"That stinks cause I'm not tellin you."
"Fine."
The car finally came to a stop and we were at the top of a hill in a park. There was a picnic table set up, with balloons and all kinds of other decorations around it. I looked at Jc in awe.
"This will probably be the most cheesy birthday date ever, but I'm a cheesy type of guy, so it fits." Jc said when I noticed everything.
"I love you for being cheesy." I giggled and gave him a kiss on a cheek and got out of the car. This is going to be the best birthday ever, I thought to myself.
