Chapter 21

Addis POV:

I only have a few other friends other than youtubers that I hang out with in California. One of them I met through Chloe. Her friends older sister, Nicole, is my age and we get along really well so we hang out a lot. Chloe, Sydney, Nicole and I are having a sleepover type thing tonight so Nicole offered to pick Chloe and I up. When Nicole and Sydney got here, I sat in the passenger seat and Chloe sat behind me.

Once we got to their house, Sydney and Chloe went to her room and Nicole and I went to hers.

"So, tell me about Jc!" Nicole said as soon as we were alone.

"Well what do you wanna hear?" I asked, seeing as there's multiple things I could say about him.

"I don't know, is he romantic, cheesy, cutest thing you guys have ever done together, anything."

"Well, he's extremely cheesy, but it's cute. And he's really funny. For my birthday he got me this necklace and did this whole meal at the top of a hill and you could see all of LA." I showed her my necklace. "He's really sweet and him and Chloe are really close, which is good. Um, we like to watch movies and penny board together. Yeah."

"Your guys' relationship is literally the cutest thing ever. Hashtag Jaddi." The fact that she said hashtag out loud is funny enough, then saying the ship name that Jc's "clouds" came up with is just priceless. We both started cracking up. We stayed up until about 1:40 in the morning then fell asleep, which is early do me considering I'm a night owl.

I woke up around 2:30 extremely hot and my head pounding. I sat up and went to the kitchen to get some water. That didn't help, in fact standing up made me dizzy. I went back to Nicole's room and tried to wake her up but she wouldn't budge. So, I tried going back to sleep. My head started to hurt even more when I laid down and my stomach started feeling queazy. I sat back up again, got out my phone and texted Jc. He was most likely still awake. I put my hand on my forehead to see if I felt hot and realized I was sweating. Definitely shouldn't be around people right now. Jc didn't text me back so I went into the bathroom and called him. He picked up on the last ring.

*phone call*

"Addi? Whats wrong baby?" He said in a panic.

"Jc I'm at my friends house and I feel so sick and she isn't waking up and i don't know what to do." I felt so sick that I wanted to just curl up in a ball and cry.

"What do you mean sick?"

"I woke up and my head was hurting and I was hot but now my head is pounding and whenever I stand up I get dizzy and my stomach hurts and I'm sweating." I said trying to keep my

voice low. Tears started forming in my eyes from the pain I was in.

"It's gonna be okay baby, do you want me to come get you?"

"Yes please."

"Okay text me the address I'll be there as soon as I can. Love you."

"Love you too."

*end of call*

I went back into Nicole's room and she was sitting up straight on her phone.

"Hey, what's wrong? Why are you up?" She asked.

"Sorry I woke you up. I feel terrible so Jc's coming to pick me up." I started feel dizzy again so I rushed to the side of her bed and sat down. "I was getting dizzy sorry."

"You're fine, what's wrong though? Like condition wise?" I explained everything to her again and we talked for a little but until Jc texted me that he was here. Nicole wanted to meet him so I got my stuff and we walked outside. He was standing up leaning against his car on his phone.

"Addi, baby are you okay?" He grabbed my stuff and put it in the back seat then gave me a hug.

"Jc this is Nicole. Nicole, Jc." They exchanged hellos and we left.

"I'm so sorry Jc I just didn't know what to do and it just hurts so bad and my mom has to work and you're the only person I knew would answer I'm sorry." I blurted out.

"Don't be sorry, it's fine. You just scared me since you never call this late. Going to my place?"

"Crap. Well considering I left the keys to my house on Nicole's dresser yeah."

When we got there I got out of the car and felt like I was going to fall over to I crouched down to the ground.

"Addi!" Jc said and ran over to me.

"Jc I can't stand up, it hurts so bad." I said, crying. He helped me stand up then carried me to his room and laid me in his bed. I pulled the covers over my head and tried to fall asleep.
