Addis POV-
Jc packed grilled cheese and ham sandwiches, Kraft Mac and cheese, ruffles and two vanilla cupcakes with chocolate icing. He must listen to me more than I think he does, because these are all my favorite foods and it can't be just a coincidence that they're packed.
"Thank you again. You didn't have to do this."
"But I wanted to. And you're welcome." I stood up and walked to the fence at the edge of the hill. You could see all of LA, it was so cool.
"Baby come here, look at this." I said to Jc in awe. He walked over and put his arms around my waist.
"I know, that's why I picked this spot."
"It's gorgeous."
"Not as gorgeous as you though."
I turned around, put my arms around his neck and stared into his deep, brown eyes. Jc looked back for a split second before crashing his lips against mine. I immediately kissed back and ran my fingers through his hair, not wanting this moment to end. Jc moved his hands up from my waist to my cheeks, our bodies still touching. We pulled away at the same time and leaned our foreheads against each other's.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too."
"I have one more gift for you, do you wanna open it now?"
"Jc you didn't have to get me anything else, really,"
"Well I'm a good boyfriend and I did, so wait right here." He went to his car and came back with a blue box in his hand. I took it from him and opened it. Inside was a silver necklace with a heart outlined in small diamonds. It was beautiful, I didn't know what to say.
"Jc..." I managed.
"Turn it over," He said. I turned it over and saw letters engraved on the back of the heart. It read, "I love you to the moon and back Addi.- Jc"
"Jc... I..." It was absolutely gorgeous, and I knew it wasn't cheap. I couldn't get any words out so I just hugged him. "Thank you, it's perfect."
"You're welcome. Do you want me to put it on?"
"Yeah." I gave him the necklace and he put it on me.
"There ya go. It's getting late, and I don't want you to not see your family at all today so let's start packing everything up." Jc said.
When I got home there was another car parked in the driveway that I wasn't familiar with.
"Mom, who's car is that?" I asked when I was inside.
"About that..." I noticed she had a key in her hand. "Since you're 18, and we live in California now, I thought maybe you would like to have a car to drive instead of your penny board and carpooling everywhere?"
"You're serious?" I asked in shock.
"Yes."
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!" I screamed and hugged her.
"You're welcome! How'd your date with Jc go?"
"Oh my god mom it's was amazing. Look what he got me," I said and showed her my necklace.
"I love you to the moon and back Addi.- Jc," she read out loud. "Wow. That's really pretty honey."
"I know. I don't know what I would do without him..."
