Chapter seventeen

' if you ask me I think you are just stressing over nothing honey. Lawerent is in jail and he has no intension of leaving soon. ' jaden looked at her.
Dora sighed she knew that would be his response but still something didn't add up.
At least to her.
' relax, there is nothing to be scared of. ' he touched her cheek and left the room.
' there's nothing to be scared of Dora ' she whispered to herself. She still wasn't convinced, she would have to do something or this awful feeling wasn't going to go away.

Lawerent kept smiling at his lawyer, he was just happy.
' okay you are beginning to creep me out now. Just stop it with the smiling' he shook his head.
Lawerent shrugged 'I can't, she just makes it too impossible to stop being happy'.
' you know you have to be careful. We have court review in 21 days lawerent and we can't risk this.' He looked at him.
' I know that but still -
' you have to stop now. Please. ' his lawyer begged. He knew better than to push lawerent.
' okay fine after tomorrow I will. I promise. '
At least for now till I'm out of here then there would be no stopping me.
His lawyer watched him closely,
' we really have to be careful. You can't blow this up now '.
' I've heard you ' he sighed in defeat.
' okay, I'll leave now. You want anything? '
Lawerent smiled, 'aside from getting out of here and my daughter... No I'm good. '
His lawyer gathered his files and walked to the door,
' and Dora would be there with her family. '
Great, just perfect. Now he had to see her pathetic face and that of her husband again.. Could his life not just go smooth and normal? She was always in the way.
There was no stopping her.
He got up and walked toward the small window, she was always in his thoughts. In his mind, everything he did was connected the her. He couldn't wait for when he would tell her who he really was.. He was tired of all the lies and pretends.
Of course it won't be easy to win her over but he would rather die trying.. He loved her that much.
More than he was ever loved by his own family.
