Chapter twenty nine

Lilian knew for a fact that She was getting too close to him but couldn't help it, he made her feel safe and complete. Four years , 3months and 2 weeks since she had been sober but the adrenaline she got whenever she saw or tasted alcohol could not be compared with how he made her feel.

   She knew it was either going to be a disaster or an adventure but it was something she was willing to risk; who was she kidding? She was already in love with him from the first day they spoke .
' I like you a lot' she muttered underneath her breath.
' what did you say?' Lawerent turned to her.
She sighed and turned to face him, ' I said I like you lawerent, I think about you a lot these days and before you say anything about us not being together and all I am a grown woman and I am sure I know what I—
Lawerent grabbed her hands and kissed it , ' I understand, and I know that I feel the same way too Lilian but I won't also deny the fact that I am scared of committing to anyone aside from my daughter at this particular time.' He paused and looked at her face , she was smiling.
' did I say something funny?'
' no, not at all . I find it amusing that you think I do not understand what you are going through at the moment, I am fully aware of the situation and I am behind you no matter what.'
Lawerent stared at her in confusion, he could not understand how she was able to tell what he was thinking, he had never felt so loved and important in his life.

Lilian took his hand in hers, ' I will wait till you are ready' .
