A/N: This was a request from someone on DeviantArt so it'll be different from what I've written so far. Hopefully you'll still enjoy it though! As always, I do not own My Hero Academia.

She could feel his gaze on her, the intensity nearly setting her alight. Gripping her pencil tighter, she continued to work, ignoring the stare of the male behind her. Focusing on the test in front of her, Haruka blew a strand of peach-colored hair out of her face, brow furrowed.

For months now, Todoroki Shouto and Takahashi Yuki had been locked in an enduring battle to win her heart, and for whatever reason, that battle had suddenly intensified over the past week. From the moment she left her house till the moment she returned to it, one or both of them was always with her. It didn't help that Yuki lived close by and walked her to school and back every day. Not a student at U.A., Yuki left her at the front gates every morning before making his way to his own high school. It was then that Shouto's attempts began.  Every day, without fail, a new gift showed up in her shoe locker from Shouto, presents ranging from single flowers to expensive looking necklaces. Her other male classmates had started to keep their distance from her, unwilling to become entangled in whatever drama was sure to happen concerning her.

At first, Haruka had naturally been flattered by their display. What girl wouldn't be? But she had never expected this to have gone on as long as it did or to have gotten as serious. When it had begun, she had expected it go on for a month at most, maybe two, but here she was, months into this ordeal. She'd thought they'd have lost interest by now, but no! She didn't know what exactly to do at this point, but she did know that something needed to be done soon or her life and relationships would continue to suffer.

Finishing her test, she stood and walked to the front of the room, turning her test in to Aizawa-sensei who didn't even look up as she set it on the already existing pile. Turning to go back to her desk, thoughts of Yuki came to the forefront of her mind. A trickster in every way, the white-haired boy often had one eyebrow raised, pale blue eyes sparkling mischievously behind his glasses. Blushing, she shook her head, trying to clear the image away even as movement at the corner of her eye drew her gaze. Shouto had rolled his shoulders, obviously trying to draw her attention as his hetero-chromatic eyes bore into hers. For a moment, captured by his eager stare, Haruka couldn't even bring herself to blink, her mind completely blank.

"Fujioka-san, did you need something else?" She jumped, realizing she had stopped walking back to her seat when her eyes had met Shouto's.

"Eh? Uh...n-no. Sorry!" Embarrassed, Haruka returned to her seat where her eyes remained glued to the desk stubbornly. She could still feel him watching her.  She sighed and closed her eyes, feeling her bangs brushing her eyelids as she bowed her head. Something needed to be done, she couldn't take much more of this intensity.

The rest of the day passed in a blur as Haruka tried to make up her mind about what to do. She cared about both boys equally, there was no way she could choose between the two. Should she let both of them down? No, that might ruin both friendships and that was the last thing she wanted. A headache steadily gained strength in her temple and before she knew it, the day was over.

Walking towards the front gate, she barely noticed Yuki waiting for her...or her other suitor trailing behind her. It wasn't until Shouto spoke that she became fully aware of her surroundings and the...predicament she was now in.

"Haruka, are you okay? You've seemed kind of off all day. Are you not feeling well?" She felt the gentle weight of Shouto's hand on her shoulder for a moment before Yuki approached, forcing him to take a step back or bump into the other man.

"Huh? You weren't feeling well today, Haruka? I should get you home as soon as I can then." He shot a pointed look at Shouto as he said this, an obvious 'BACK OFF!' signal. "Do you need to ride on my back?"

"If she's really not feeling well then I should take her to see Recovery Girl, don't you think?" Shouto countered, stepping forward once more. Trapped between the two men, Haruka's lungs felt tight, finding it harder to breath under the weight of their fierce competition. Her fingernails dug into her palm as her hand fisted.

'I should've done something sooner, this has gotten way out of hand," she thought as she bit her lip slightly, bangs shadowing her eyes.

"The best thing to do would be for me to take her home so she can rest! Which I could do if you would go away and stop bugging her!" The usual devious gleam in Yuki's eyes had disappeared, replaced by hard frustration.

"Tch. Me? Bugging her? If that's true, then your a hypocrite!"

"ENOUGH! What is wrong with the two of you?" Haruka simply couldn't take it anymore, the pressure, the confusion, the impending heartbreak. "I've had just about enough of this game the two of you have been playing over me! Can't you see how it hurts me to see my friends fight!? You're only pushing me away by making me choose between the two of you!" Two pairs of eyes stared at her, wide in surprise. "I love both of you equally! How could you make me choose?" Haruka's voice had dropped to a near whisper as frustrated tears began to blur her eyes.

For a few heartbeats, everything was silent as she stared at her shoes, unsure of what she would find if she looked at either of the boys in front of her. Finally, she felt arms wrap around her comfortingly.

"Sorry, Haruka. I had no idea," Shouto murmured, one hand patting her head.

"Me neither. I'm sorry we upset you so much. I got so caught up in fighting with him over you that I didn't realize I'd become selfish and was completely ignoring how you felt." Yuki, soft and serious as his arms held her close. He exchanged an unreadable look with Shouto. "We..." he swallowed and began again. "We understand if you're not going to decide between us now, but...maybe...maybe in the future..." He trailed off, but she understood what he meant.

"Yuki-kun, Shouto-kun...I can't promise anything, but maybe, sometime in future, I could decide which one of you I want to have my heart... For now though... can we just be friends, the three of us?" Haruka looked up, purple-grey eyes hopeful and a little desperate.

"Sure, Haru-chan. I don't like this guy very much, but if that's what you want I'm willing to do it, for you." The smile she loved had returned to Yuki's face as he looked down at her, a bit of sadness still sparkling in them.

"Me too," Shouto agreed, eyes giving away a slight tenderness.

"Then that'll be it...for now," Haruka resolved, tone resolute. There would definitely be more drama in this triangle, that was for sure, but for now, she could breathe easy, the weight on her shoulders lifted as she walked back home, ready for a less dramatic tomorrow.
