02. "Eva is throwing a party"

I was lying in my bed, while watching Netflix from my computer. The movie told about a girl, who fell in love with a boy she didn't have a chance with.
It was so sad that i even cried a little bit.

It was weekend, and i had survived from my first week in my new school.
I hanged with Jonas, Mahdi and Magnus and they become my best friends, besides Sana. I was so happy that they liked me.

It was raining outside, so i decided to spend the whole weekend inside at home clearly watching romantic movies. Maybe i watched them because i didn't have personally anything that was romantic in my own life. I should be worried.

Then my phone buzzed next to me for a sign that i got a new message. It was Jonas.

Jonas: Hi bro, what are you doing today?

Me: Nothing, chilling at home. Why?

Jonas: Eva is throwing a party today sooo would you like to come?

Me: Sure, i'm in!

Jonas: Good. I'll text you the address later!

I didn't even know who Eva was, but possibly she was one of Jonas' friends or his girlfriend. Who knows?

"MOM!" I yelled.

"Yes honey", she appeared to my room seconds later.

"I'll go to Jonas' place today, if you don't mind?" I asked from her.

I noticed how tired she was. She was pale, and she had dark bags under her eyes. She wasn't ok.

"Of course you can go!" She said and gave me a weak smile.

"Are... Are you ok?" I asked from her what i usually don't do, but now i felt like i had to. Just to make myself feel calmer.

"Yeah, i'm just a little bit sick but not much." She answered, and she lied.

"Oh, ok then." I said and she left my room.

I wanted her to talk to me about her own things and problems, but she never does. That's just because "she doesen't want to stress me with her problems." And i totally get it, i'm her child.

...

I knocked to the door, and Eva came to open it. I suppose that it was her.

"You must be Isak, Jonas' new friend?" She asked.

She had tall, brown hair and she was pretty. No wonder why Jonas chose her.

"It's me!" I said and smiled. She smiled back to me.

"Nice! I'm Eva, Jonas' girlfriend. It's so nice to meet you finally!" She introduced herself.

"Finally and finally, i've been here in Oslo for a week now." I said.

Then she let me in, and i saw a lot of people dancing around and drinking something from plastic cups. Casual party.
I was trying to find Jonas, Mahdi or Magnus and it was kinda easy. They were sitting in the kitchen, chatting with each other.

"Isak! What's up bro?" Mahdi greeted me happily.

"Nothing really", i answered and sat down to the table. Eva followed me.

"Watch out, Jonas. Isak could steal your girl in any minute he'd want to!" Magnus said and poked him playfully.

It was really awkward because first of all, i would never steal anyone's girlfriend. And what made it even more awkward is that Eva sat right next to me.

"Sure, whenever Eva's ready!" I joked.

"Wow, you got that right attitude!" Mahdi said and high-fived with me.

I realized i had to go to pee soon, so i looked around for bathroom. It weren't nowhere to be seen.

"Eva, where is the bathroom?" I asked and turned to look at her.

"It's upstairs, right next to the bedroom." She explained.

I got up and walked to upstairs. I didn't know which one was the bathroom, so i went into the room that was nearest to the stairs. I soon realized it was a huge mistake.

I saw two people making out in bed, so i just freezed and watched them for a while. The girl was on the boy, and they were just kissing. I thought it was pretty nasty.
Then the boy raised his head, and saw me standing at the door.
It was that Even boy, who belonged to "the hottest trio" of our chool.

"Sorry!" I said and left the room quickly. I closed the door behind me.

I went straight to the bathroom, and did my thing. After that i went back to the kitchen where my friends were still sitting at.

"What took you so long?" Jonas asked from me.

"I umm.. I didn't find the bathroom at first. Instead, i went to the bedroom and saw Even making out with a blonde in there." I explained to them.

"Even is clearly getting that tonight!" Magnus laughed with Mahdi and Jonas.

I think it's just gross. I don't want to have sex, or never did. I was a virgin.
So, i just smiled to Magnus' joke.

The night didn't last long, because i was tired. After i had drank only couple of beers with them, i went home. I felt like i had to be alone.

I showered, and watched Netflix, again. It was almost midnight already, so i thought about sleeping. But i couldn't.

I gave up, and opened my phone. Someone had direct-messaged to me in Instagram. I opened it, and saw the senter.

"@EvenBechNæsheim: I'm sorry for you :D"

He was sorry for me, but why? I didn't know how to answer.

"@isakyaki: ???

@EvenBechNæsheim: That you saw what you saw.

@isakyaki: ohh that's ok.

@isakyaki: i don't really care anyways:D"

Then he stopped replying to me, even though i waited for ten minutes. I bet he was doing that with her girlfriend or whatever she meant to him.

I had almost fallen in sleep already, when he finally replied.

" @EvenBechNæsheim: Yes, you do."
