Y/N's POV
Patton's face was painted bright red as he just smiled at me. All I could do was just return the smile. Scarlet was sat on the other side of the room squealing.
"OMG! I ship it" she squealed and Patton and I both giggled.
"I suppose he is quite a good kisser" I stated, making Patton's face turn an even brighter shade of red.
"Th-thank you. S-so are you" he told me and the shade of my face slowly began to match his. I opened my mouth to respond but just then, I noticed that Vivian had gone.
"Guys, did anyone see where Vivian went?" I asked. Everybody just looked around at eachother and shrugged. I had to find her. I had to make sure she was ok.
"You guys carry on playing. I'll go and look for her" I stood up to leave but felt someone gently grab onto my hand. I look down to see Patton there.
"Let me come with you" he said but I shook my head.
"As much as I'd love you to come with me, I think I should probably do this on my own. I'm the only one who knows how to comfort her and when she's upset, she prefers as little company as possible" I carefully pulled his hand off of mine and head to the door. Sliding my shoes on, I swung the door wide open and ran towards Bella's house, still leaving the door slightly open so I could get back in afterwards.
When I reached Bella's house, I saw Vivian sitting on the door steps, her knees to her chest, her head burried in her knees and sobbing. I immediately ran over to her and sat next to her, placing my arm around her reassuringly. She looked up and quickly wiped away her tears.
"Hey kiddo. What's wrong?" I asked, concern tracing my voice.
"N-nothing" she replied. "You wouldn't understand anyway" I frowned at this. I hated it when my kiddos didn't let me help them because they thought that I couldn't.
"Vivian, please tell me. I might be able to understand" Vivian shook her head.
"No you wouldn't. Besides, I don't want to talk about it" If she didn't feel comfortable enough telling me then I guess I shouldn't force her to.
"Well if you don't feel comfortable enough telling me then you don't have to" She smiled.
"Thanks"
"So Vivian, how comes you're out here?"
"Well I wanted some alone time but the door was locked so I kinda just stayed out here" She explained.
"Well you can't stay out here in the cold for much longer" I told her but she just shrugged.
"I don't mind the cold"
"No. We're getting you inside. Do you want me to get the house keys from Bella?" I asked and she nodded. But as I stood up to leave, she told me to wait.
"Y/N wait! Can I ask you a question first?" She asked me.
"Sure kiddo. Go ahead" I smiled.
"Do you love Patton? Like really love him? Like more than friends? Like have a crush on him?"
"To be quite honest with you, I'm not sure. I've never really had a crush on anyone before. Besides, I barely know him. I mean he seems very kind and caring and his smile melts my heart and his kisses are just-" My thoughts out loud were interrupted by Vivian.
"Keys" she reminded me.
"Oh right sorry kiddo" I quickly ran back to Thomas's house.
