Y/N's POV
I didn't know what to do at first. I've never felt this way before anyone else before, mainly because I've never met a guy like Patton before. Do I tell him how I feel? Do I ask him out? Do I just wait for him to ask me out? Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by Patton asking me a question.
"So, do you wanna go back and join the others? Or do you wanna just stay here together?" He asked and it took me a few seconds to think about it. I did want to spend more time with him but at the same time, I thought it might be a bit awkward considering my feelings for him.
"We might as well go back and join the others" I replied. Nodding, he took my hand in his and we headed back downstairs together. When we reached the bottom of the stairs, everyone stopped the game and looked up at us, smiling. Bella had now returned and taken her seat next to Thomas. Patton and I sat down next to eachother in the nearest available space.
"So, what did we miss?" I asked.
"Not much" Thomas replied, "Mainly truths"
"Who's turn is it?" I asked.
"It is I, the one burdened with the dastardly fate if being alive's turn" Virgil replied. However, I knew that it wasn't Virgil and was actually just Roman dressed as Virgil, just like the dare. The real Virgil, who was dressed as Roman, just rolled his eyes. I giggled.
"Ok "Virgil" carry on then" I smiled.
"Y/N, truth or dare?" He asked me.
"Um...you know what, I choose dare again" I replied and he smirked.
"I dare you and Patton to swap lives for a day, starting from tomorrow" (A/N thank you to @ToniDaPepperoni for suggesting that dare. Sorry it came a bit late but in order for the story to make sense, it had to come in later)
My eyes opened wide as I glanced at Patton, seeing what he had to say about it. He just shrugged.
"Well, it's a dare. I guess we have to do it" he told me.
"Are you sure you're ok with it?" I asked and he smiled.
"Yeah I'm fine with it. Are you?" I nodded.
"Here let me give you my number so you can text me if you need me" he suggested as he took his phone out of his pocket.
"I'll give you mine as well" I took my phone out of my pocket as well. Unlocking our phones, we both swapped phones with eachother, typed in our numbers and handed our phones back to eachother smiling.
"I'll text you a list later of all the things I do in a day so you know what to do" he said and I nodded.
"Tomorrow shall be an...interesting day" I smiled.
The next morning
I woke up this morning feeling refreshed and ready for the day. I immediately checked my phone like I do every morning when I wake up and I saw two texts from Patton. One was list of everything he does in a day and the other read:
Patton 💙: Hey Y/N! Are you ready for today?
I immediately replied with:
Y/N 💖: Of course! Should we meet outside in a bit to swap over?
Not even a minute later he replied with:
Patton 💙: Sure! See you in about 10 minutes? Or do you need more time?
Y/N 💖: Let's make it 15 please
Patton 💙: Okay. See you soon
Y/N 💖: See you soon. Oh and before I forget, let me send you a list of everything I do in a day
