Y/N's POV

I knew that I had to leave the mind scape for a while to save Patton, the love of my life. The only problem was, I had no idea how to leave the mindscape. Vivian was the only one of us who had actually left before but I knew that she wouldn't help me because she'd want me to stay at the mind scape but I couldn't, not when Patton could be in danger. Then an idea hit me: Ivy might be able to help me. She was the one who told me about Patton in the first place and she seemed to know a lot about these types of things for some reason. My hands shaking uncontrollably, I took my phone out of my pocket, took in a deep breath and dialed her number.

Patton's POV

Darkness. All I saw was darkness; it surrounded me. Then, I saw a few flickers of light as my eyes slowly opened and I realised that I had been knocked out and was no longer in my room. The room I was in had acid yellow light illuminating it. Gasping, I immediately realised that I was in Deceit's room. What did he want with me? It didn't really matter though. All that mattered was getting out of there. I tried to move but both my arms and legs were being restricted by somthing. Looking down, I realised that I was tied to a metal pole, my arms handcuffed behind my back. I tried to scream for help but all my screams were muffled by a single strip of ducktape stuck onto my mouth so I was forced to stay there and do nothing.

"My my my. Isn't this precious. Wittle Patton all tied up" I heard a deep voice chuckle, mocking me, before a yellow puff of smoke appeared to reveal Deceit standing there, holding a whip in hand and smirking. "I wonder how much my little friend here would hurt if I hit him against your bare skin"

"Stop! Don't hurt him!" I heard a female voice yell as the whip dissapeared from Deceit's hand. Suddenly, Ivy appeared behind him with his whip in hand, causing Deceit to sharply turn around.

"Oh Ivy, you ruined all my fun" he pouted.

"Fun? Hurting an innocent man is not fun! Nor is emotionally abusing an already emotionally unstable woman" she protested. An emotionally unstable woman? Y/N! My mind began racing with thoughts as I began to worry about what he had done to her.

"Whatever" Deceit rolled his eyes. "Did you do what I told you to?"

"Well I didn't exactly have a choice did I? I don't see why you're so eager to hurt her"

"BECAUSE IF I CAN'T HAVE HER, NO ONE CAN!!!!!" Deceit yelled in anger.

"And why are you hurting Patton? He's got nothing to do with this"

"Oh hasn't he? He is the reason for all of this. He stole the woman I love and now I'm making him suffer and pay" I desperately wanted to speak up and say something but I knew that I couldn't so I was forced to just stand there and watch the whole scene unfold in front of me.

Suddenly, Ivy's phone began to ring and her face dropped.

"Ugh who is it?" Deceit growled.

"It's Y/N"

"Oooooh this shall be interesting" Deceit smirked. "Put her on speaker"

"H-hey Y/N" Ivy stuttered.

"I-Ivy, I-I need y-your help" hearing Y/N's heart broken heart through her voice just made mine break even more. "H-how d-do I-I leave the m-mind scape?" I gasped, although no one could hear it through the ducktape. She couldn't leave the mind scape. If she did, I may never see her again. "I-I have t-to find Patton" If my heart wasn't already broken, it had now been crushed into a million pieces. All this was because of me. She was about to leave the mindscape and if was all my fault and I couldn't even help.

"No Y/N don-" Ivy began to protest before I saw the colour drain from her eyes, as if she was being controlled. "Well the easiest way is to walk as far away from your host as possible. Normally, you can only go about a mile away but if you want to leave, you have to keep walking and walking until you are far, far away from Bella" Ivy told her.

"Th-thanks" Y/N's shakey voice replied before she hung up. Tears poured down my face like a waterfall. Soon, she would be gone forever and there was nothing I could do. I never even got a chance to say goodbye.

Y/N's POV

After hanging up the phone, I shoved it back into my pocket, stood to my feet and began walking. No destination. No idea how far. No plan. I just had to keep walking.
