Patton's POV

Meanwhile

Every inch of my body grew tired with every passing moment but I forced myself to stay awake. My worry and panic for Y/N kept me awake, well that and Ivy and Deceit's constant arguing. They had been yelling at eachother for hours now, arguing about one thing or another. I could tell that Ivy was furious at Deceit for trying to control her. She was able to break out of it occasionally but that only seemed to make matters even worse for her. After what seemed like an eternity of arguing, Ivy just gave up and sat on the edge of Deceit's bed, her head buried in her hands. The whip still in his hands, Deceit turned to me with a wicked grin on his face.

"Now the fun can finally begin" He hit the whip in his hand, the crack sending a shiver down my spine. His grin refusing to leave his face, he held the whip above his head. Accepting my fate, I closed my eyes tightly and took in a deep breath. I heard the whip move through the air swiftly but just as it was about to strike my skin, I heard a voice from outside. A familiar, sweet voice that was now laced with concern. A voice that belonged to none other than Y/N.

"Patton, are you in there? I need to talk to you. I'm sorry about earlier. Please talk to me" She begged as she knocked on my door, which was right next to Deceit's. Immediately after, I heard something slamming against the floor. As my eyes shot open, I saw that Deceit had dropped his whip and his face was filled with shock whereas mine and Ivy's were filled with joy and relief.

He began to pace the room, running his hands through his hair, as he muttered things to himself such as "No no no. How is she here?" and "No she shouldn't be here" and "If she finds out about everything, I'm screwed" but I didn't particularly care about what he was saying. I just wanted to get Y/N back and know that she was safe. Duck tape still covering my mouth, I tried to yell but all my screams were muffled. Seeing my struggle, Ivy quickly ran over to me.

"Shhh" She whispered, hushing me. "Hold still, this may hurt" Before I had a chance to even process what she was saying, she ripped the duck tape off of my mouth. It hurt so much but I had no time to worry about that. I had to see Y/N again.

"Y/N!" I yelled. "Help me! I'm in Deceit's room!" Deceit sharply turned towards me and covered my mouth with his hand to silence my yells for help but it was already too late.

"Patton!" I heard Y/N gasp as she ran over to the door and began to bang on it. "Let me in!" She yelled. "Let Patton go!"

"How about...no" Deceit snarled.

"Please" She added.

"No!" He yelled.

"What do you want?" She asked, her voice softening.

"What?"

"I asked, what do you want? Is there anything I can offer you in order to let Patton go?"

"Well there is one thing" He smirked as I gulped. I already knew where this was going.

"What is it?"

"You"

Silence. An eerie, unsettling silence followed that. I momentarily pulled away from Deceit in order to break this silence, yelling "No! Don't do this! I can't loose you again!" But my mouth was quickly covered again, muffling my yells and pleads.

"Fine" Y/N sighed. "You can take me but just leave him alone" I felt my heart shatter. Now I may never see her again. Deceit had won yet again. He always wins. No matter what we do, he always outsmarts us. Pulling away from me, he opened the door to reveal a stern faced Y/N, barely showing any emotion.
