Chapter 23-Rescue mission

Hey guys. So before we begin I just want to quickly thank one of my closest and best friends chloe_louise_clarke for some if the ideas I used in this chapter. Hope you enjoy it. This are going down in this chapter.

Patton's POV

As I knelt on the floor, tears clouding my eyes, Vivian sat down next to me and placed her arm around me reassuringly.

"Look Pat, I may not be the best when it comes to comforting others but I have a feeling that everything will turn out okay in the end. We can save Y/N. I know we can"

"B-but how. I-if she's locked i-in there th-then how will w-we get in?" I asked her.

"I think I might just know a way to get in. You see how Ivy was able to dissapear with just the click of her fingers, so can I" My eyes widened and my jaws dropped in shock.

"W-what?!? How?!?"

"Well...how do I say this? All the dark sides have magic powers. I'm not sure how or why but they do. I think that somehow they have them to themselves or something. Anyway, I...I um... I used to be a dark side" she said really frantically.

"You did?" She nodded.

"...yeah. I kinda resent who I am because of it. I don't want to be evil but that's just who I am. One day I was feeling really low about myself and...well...tried to leave the others because of it, realising that I didn't belong with them and I was just a burden to them. But Y/N found me and convinced me to stay. She accepted me when no one else did and helped me come to terms with who I am. So I left all the dark sides and joined the light sides, if that's what you can call them. But the darkness wasn't fully gone and I still have the ability to dissapear and appear wherever I want but I prefer not to use it as it reminds me of a past I'd rather forget. I might be able to use it to get inside Deceit's room" She explained. At first it was hard to process what she was saying but I understood the most important part: she can get inside Deceit's room.

"What about me?" I asked her.

"Well I think I might be able to take you with me. Let's try it first. Grab onto my hand and I'll try to get us to your room" Nodding I grabbed her hand and closed my eyes. She clicked her fingers and my eyes reopened to show that we were in my room. I gasped.

"It worked. It actually worked. Vivian, you're a genius" I pulled her into a tight hug and she smiled shyly.

"Th-thanks. Now let's focus on saving Y/N"

Y/N's POV

My eyes slowly opened, my vision slightly blurry. I glanced at the door and noticed something strange. There was no longer a key hole for a key to unlock but instead a lock that could only be unlocked by a finger print, Deceit's finger print to be exact. Now I was definitely trapped with no escaped.

I looked down to the floor sadly and saw chains attached to my feet tying me to one of the bed legs. This must have been another one of Deceit's cruel methods of keeping me locked in his room. How could he do this to someone he supposedly loved?

Suddenly two figures appeared out of no where, one male and one female. Assuming it was just Deceit and Ivy, I looked away from them. After what they did to me, I didn't even want to look at them. I could sense the figures running towards me.

"Y/N?" The male called out. His voice didn't sound deep and menacing like Deceit's but more light and bubbly. Looking up, I noticed a familiar face, one that I was desperate to see. A smile grew on my face.

"Patton!" He ran closer towards me and pulled me into a tight hug. I then noticed the female figure standing next to him and immediately noticed who it was.

"Vivian!" She ran closer and joined the hug.

"Oh I've missed you so much Pumpkin. We were so worried about you" Patton told me as he planted a quick kiss on my forehead.

"I've missed you too cookie" then I realised something. If he was in here then Deceit might try and hurt him as a punishment for what I've done. "I wish we could spend more time together but you have to get out of here, both of you, before he comes back"

"No. I'm not leaving this room without you" Patton stated firmly crossing his arms.

"No Patton you don't get it. If he finds you two in here, you have no idea what he'll do to you. You have to leave...now" I explained.

"Oh it's too late for that now darling" I menacing voice came from the shadows and as it slowly approached us, I saw the half snake face that I knew far too well for my liking. It was too late. I couldn't save them. Smirking, he clicked his fingers and both Patton and Vivian were tied up to a chair in the middle of the room, struggling to break free.

"No!" I screamed. "Please Don't hurt them. Hurt me instead" he came closer towards me and held my chin in his hand.

"Oh but you see, torturing you is getting boring. Besides, this way is a lot more fun and will hurt you so much more. Now I was just going to hurt your precious Patton but now that one of the other people you care so much about is here, this will hurt you twice as much" His words were tormenting me even more than his actions.

"Now, to make things even more interesting, I'm going to give you a choice" he removed his hand from my chin and approached Patton and Vivian in the middle of the room. He stood between them. "I'm not going to hurt both if them but I will hurt one of them. Who I torture however is up to you" I gasped. How could he make me choose and how could I possibly choose between the two people I cared about.

"Now, choose wisely"
