"That's the guy from the houses realm?! Something did smell ashy about him." Chloe said and chuckled at her own joke.

"That wasn't even funny Chloe and we have to be serious here, not only is Levi's grandmother," Aaron said gaining a bone chilling glare from me making him scratch the back of his neck and continue, "I mean Beulah is here, but she assigned the guy who just happens to want to kill him to be his personal butler." he said taking a long pull of his cigarette.

I noticed he tended to do that alot when he was stressed or wasn't sure how to deal with a situation, Cian was sitting on my bed not quite sure what to do either. But he, though concerned about the situation was more awkward because of how expensive my room was, it was almost adorable to think that this guy who tried to act cool was afraid of fancy things. I was now curled up in a fort I made for myself from the pillows I had on my bed. Everyone though conversed about the situation I was in they respected my silent wish to be alone.

None of us were expecting for the evil to come right at our doorstep, we knew it would try to get close to us but not like this. I was trying to decipher if bringing Beulah into this was part of the plan or she just came making a convent opportunity for Ash, the boy who held Satan as his god factor, to get me into a corner. Just the thought of someone holding the actual devil in them made my skin get goosebumps. I thought like that about Eli and Lucifer, but I understood the real devil in Ash. Neither him nor Beulah came to pester us for the rest of the evening, it was just me hiding away from everything while Chloe and Aaron debated tactics to deal with our new threat. Cian seemed like he wanted to get close to me but knew that I wanted to be alone even from him so he stayed where he was but kept an eye on me.

Tiredness began to take me luring me into its soft and peaceful arms, my eyelids fluttered until they closed and I was slowly plunged into darkness. The darkness didn't give me the feeling of evil, it was sweet and warm like a net drawing in me and I was hooked. But I read somewhere that evil had a sweet pungent smell that gave the appearance of something attractive so that it fooled its prey. It was too late that I recognized that this was no ordinary sleep so I was forced to keep my eyes closed and enter into whatever dream I was being drawn to.

I woke up inside my garden but it felt different, none of the creatures in it was out and the trees held no life in them. Their barks were charred from a fire that had to have already pass through because I saw not a single flame in my view. The flowers were ash on the ground where marks lined the once grassy plains, I let my wings free and flew above my forest to get a good view of the damage. As I rose I saw the real horror, the animals were in the other end of the forest, their coats covered in blood while their innards lay right next to them.

I screamed and flew over to them dropping to my knees and lifting the wolf who was at the front line onto my lap, his face was contorted into anger as if he was defending the others. His white fur was drenched in blood while some of it was missing, where his fur was gone were holes. My hands shook as I tried to rest it on his body but I wasn't sure how, my body forgot how to move. Tears filled my eyes and dropped off my cheeks like the blood that surrounded me. His tail moved catching my attention and I looked down hoping he would move again to let me know he was alive.

But he didn't move rather his tail was was thrown off and a bird who looked like it bathed in the blood, it's right wing was broken and hung limply at its side. My hands moved and picked it up making it make a noise of pain causing me to flinch and be a little more careful. I let some magic slip through my fingers and wash over the bird cleaning up it's white feathers, mending it wings causing it to scream from the pain of it cracking back into place. It's tiny wail made my heart break as I made my way to it's neck that I could see was slit, sewing the skin back together
