Chapter 10

        I knock on my brothers door and i stare up at him my ears lowered as he looked down at me speechless. After a few minutes he picked me up and hugged me tightly "RYAN I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" he said as tears rolled down his face. My ears perked up and i hugged him up as i nuzzle my face on his chest. "im s-sorry i haven't seen you ever since you left.." i whispered. "i was scared..Dad doesn't like me seeing you or my sister.." i whispered sniffling. He wiped my cheeks and kissed my cheek. I smile a little and rubbed my eyes. He puts me down and we sit down on the couch. He looks me up and down and raised my hoodie and shirt up making me yelp "H-hey!" i said blushing tugging it back down "sorry i was checking if he hurt you and i see he has..a lot..baby bro why don't you just stay with me? common i don't want you getting hurt and touched by that disgusting man anymore" he said his ears lowered. I look down "sure he's mean but he's still my dad and i can't leave him alone...he's sad..lost..he's not himself..im sure he'll realize at some point right?" He sighed and put a hand on my cheek "i know you want to help him but sometimes some people can't be helped,you can't keep putting yourself through all that pain..it's not right.." I sigh and lay my head in his chest as he pet my head. I nuzzle my face on his chest "just a little longer.." i whispered. "your so sweet" he said and smiled. I smiled looking up at him "can we play mario kart like old times?" i asked giving him a cute stare and pout. He smiled and gave me a quick peck on the lips making me blush "H-hey!" I yelled,he laughed "sorry your just so dam cute " he said and got up and turned on the wii handing me the controller. I sit up swaying my tail "if i win you give me candy!" i said smiling. He smiled " aand if i win i get a kiss" he said poking my nose. i roll my eyes "fiiinnne" i huffed. We started playing and right when i was about to win he used the mushroom he was keeping and passed me. My ears perked up and i whine "no fair cheater!" i said and huffed punching his arm. He laughed "you know what that means". I roll my eyes and gave him a quick kiss then he hugged me  and i started to whine "you..going..to..squish me ..to death.." i muffled out wiggling around a bit "but you so cute!" he said his tail swaying. I get out and huffed soon getting a text message. I look at it and see its from Darwin 

D: hey cutie

R: oh hey

D: watcha doin?

R: im hanging out with my older brother 

D: oh well call me later whenever you get the chance alright?

R: mhm 

D: love you

R: love you too >w<

My brother tried seeing who i was texting but i quickly put my phone away. He looked at me "hmmm" he said and poked my cheek. I giggle and shrugged "i gotta get going i don't want dad to get to mad see yeah big bro" i said and hugged him. I then walked out turning into a small navy blue cat again sprinting home. I turn back to normal and open the door seeing my dad on the couch 'here we go..'....
