A/N: Hey, guys! In this chapter, I will be introducing Alois Trancy. I'm sorry if nothing is really happening as it did in the actual manga/anime. But you see, if I had done that, I wouldn't have had much wiggle room. I like to adapt the story in my own way. If you don't like that, feel free to stop reading. Heck! Comment an angry message if you want! I understand. But if you want to read my fanfictions, you have to deal with it not following the story perfectly. Anyways, for those of you who do like it, thank you. I sincerely apologize for my ranting. Please feel free to comment your own opinions. I will try to adapt the story around your suggestions as well if you have any. Thank you.

"You look great, Lizzy." I complimented her on her choice of costume. We were in the Trancy manor, getting ready for the ball. Lord Trancy was busy at the moment, so we hadn't had the chance to meet him yet. Lizzy dressed in a costume styled after a peacock. She wore a blue and green dress with real peacock feathers coming off the back. She held a fan, decorated with the same pattern as the feather. She also had her make up done in the same colors and matching ribbons were woven through her curls.
"Thank you! I'm afraid I'm not nearly as cute as you, though! That costume is absolutely adorable!" she smiled at me, gesturing to my dress. I wore a costume styled after a swan. However, I took my own adaptation on it. The dress was a flowing, white silk gown the hung to my ankles. It had silver feathers going around it in periodic points. Once around at my waist, once around at my mid-calf, and once around at my ankles. There were also silver feather going around my chest, just below the neck. The dress was strapless and the areas that didn't have feathers(other than the torso) were covered with ruffles. I paired it with elbow-length white gloves. They had silver feathers around the rims and the wrists. I also tailored some swan wings out of real feathers to attach to the back of the dress. They also attach to my wrists so that they open when I spread my arms. They were made completely out of real swan feathers(with a few added silver feathers, made by me).
"Thank you, but it's not that good. It doesn't poof out like yours or stand out like Meylene's." I said, and I meant it. Meylene wore a totally hot pink dress with everything matching and she had on heels that easily made her at least as tall as Charles, if not Sebastian.
"Oh, please, Lady Sinnie! You look much better than me, yes you do!" Meylene reassured. I looked down at my elegant white gown. I wore transparent shoes to give off the effect of bare feet. My toe nails were painted orange like a swan's feet.
"Oh, come on! We've still got a bit till the ball starts! Will you spread your wings for us?" Lizzy begged. I laughed and nodded lightly. I spread my arms, showing them my wings. I didn't see why everyone liked them so much. They were just wings.
"The ball starts in five minutes. We should head down now." Ciel walked in, wearing his costume. He was dressed as a prince, in royal blue with a single peacock feather in his hat. We nodded and followed him down. We arrived at the ball room two minutes early, but almost everyone was already there. Ciel and every one entered the ball as if it were nothing. I hesitated before entering. Charles turned back, waiting.
"You go on ahead. I'd rather be fashionably late." I said to him. He scratched his head, obviously confused.
"Fashionably late?" he asked. I nodded.
"Just go. I need to think." I said, exasperated. Charles walked on ahead and I walked off to the side, leaning against the wall on the left side. I leaned back, debating whether or not to go in. I wasn't used to this. What if I messed something up? What if someone asked me to dance? I only had one lesson! I can't dance!
While I was thinking this, someone walked up to the ball room doors. He stopped there and turned slowly on his heel. He strode up to me confidently and tilted my chin up to look at him. He had electric blue eyes and blonde hair. He wore a pirate outfit. His left pant leg was torn and his shirt was very baggy. He wore a captains hat with a beautiful white feather sticking up out of it. He smiled.
