Awkward? Awkward.

It wasn't hard to spread the news. We told Bard first, then Lizzy(she's excited). After that, we told Sebastian and swore him to secrecy so I could tell Ciel myself. After Sebastian, I decided to tell Finny. That was a bit more difficult(and a lot more awkward).
I approached him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around in surprise, then hugged me.
"I'm glad you're back, Sinnie!" he smiled. His smile fell when he realized how nervous I looked. I took a deep breath and began my story.
"You know how I was, uh, raped? Yeah, of course you do. Well, now, I'm kind of pregnant and I had to tell you. I didn't want anyone else to get to you first so now you know and I'm talking really fast so you probably don't understa-" he put a hand over my mouth, silencing me. He lowered his hand after a moment and peered at me suspiciously.
"Are you sure?" he asked after a while. I nodded solemnly.
"At this point, I am." I replied. He sighed.
"Then it's okay. You don't have to be nervous, Sinnie." he said. I nodded and put my head down. He hugged me and we just stood like that for a while. So, that was awkward for a moment. Just wait till you see what happened with Ciel.
~~~~~
I knocked on his door quietly, dreading the moments to come. He called out for me to come in. I put my hand on the knob and hesitated. I looked back at Edmund, who was standing behind me.
He nodded encouragingly, giving me the courage to walk inside. He waited right outside the door as I stepped inside.
Ciel sat at his large desk, a small horse figurine in his hand. His legs were crossed and his head was propped in one hand. He glanced up at me without emotion. He stared at me for a moment before sighing and straightening up.
"Well? What is it?" he asked. He seemed tired, like he'd stayed up most of the night or slept uncomfortably. I rubbed my arms nervously.
"I need to talk to you, Ciel. And I need you to hear me out." I paused, waiting for him to say something. When he didn't, I continued, "Something happened to me. I've already told everyone else. I'm actually rather surprised Lizzy didn't pass the news around. She was so excited and she seemed to want to tell everyone. Of course, Bard didn't seem too happy. Finny was rather-"
"Sinnie. I'm rather busy right now, so if you could get on with this." Ciel said, cutting me off mid-sentence. I sighed and threw my hands up in defeat.
"Ciel! I said to hear me out, okay?! If I want to ramble on, I sure as hell will ramble on. I don't give a damn about your stupid schedule!!!" I yelled. Then I took a deep breath and tried to blink back the tears. This was going awfully. I should have known. Ciel stared at me, bored. I glared back at him and decided to just say it.
"For God's sake, Ciel! I'm pregnant, okay!" I said. "YES! I'm a pregnant fourteen-year-old! Laugh. Go ahead. I know you want to, you snotty little prick."
Ciel's eyes widened very slightly, but other than that, he showed no emption. A thick silence ensued, suffocating me. Finally, Ciel straightened up again and stood, shoving his chair back and throwing down the little horse figurine. It landed on the desk, right in the front.
Ciel walked around the desk and stared at me for a moment. I could tell he was making a serious effort to control himself. His effort was short-lived, however. He growled and raised his arms in a very bad gesture.
"Damn you, God! If there even is any!" he screamed. "WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR???!!!!!! WHY DO YOU MAKE LIFE SO DAMN HARD???!!!! WHY MUST YOU RUIN EVERYTHING!!!!??!!?!!?!" Ciel pushed his hair back angrily and took a step back towards his desk. He raised his fist and yelled "DAMN IT!" before slamming it down on the desk. He held it there for a moment before his eyes started watering. He lifted his hand slowly and looked at it. The little horse figurine was squashed and its head had pierced Ciel's skin.
He gritted his teeth and walked around his desk. He slammed himself down in his chair and rummaged around in a drawer. He pulled out gauze and some sort of cream. Then he stared at his hand uncomprehendingly.
I sighed and rushed around the desk. I grabbed his hand and got down on my knees. I rubbed some of the cream on his wound. He let out a strangled gasp as I wrapped the gauze around his hand and tore it with my teeth. I smirked and stood. He lifted the hand and examined it.
Finally, after much silence, Ciel smirked and laughed slightly. He looked up at me with soft eyes. They reminded me of someone, but I couldn't think who.
"You'll make a wonderful mother. I suppose I should be happy for you." he said. I smiled and sniffed in realization. His eyes. They remind me of our mother. I only knew her for like a day and five minutes, but I recognized the soft look in her eyes.
Tears welled up in my eyes and slipped down my face. Ciel's smile dropped and he looked at me in confusion.
"You remind me so much of Mother, Ciel. You have the same look as she had in her eyes." I said, voice cracking, wiping my nose on my sleeve. Ciel smirked and stepped forward. He raised his hand and wiped my tears.
"Don't cry. It doesn't suit you, Sister." Ciel said, as though he took pride in the word sister. I smiled happily and brought him in for a big hug. He leaned back and flinched in surprise. Then he stood there awkwardly before finally hugging me back. It wasn't a big hug like I imagined I'd share with a brother. Just a short squeeze and a pat on the back. Nonetheless, it made me happy. Maybe Ciel does have the capacity to care, then.
I was glad I managed to tell everyone without too many bad reviews. All in all, everyone was pretty happy about it. We never have children around the house. As much as it pains me, I'm probably the closest to a child. Then again, I'm the one who's a soon-to-be mother too.
I guess we'll just have to see how everything plays out.
A/N: Okay, so I FINALLY finished this chapter. AND its a short chapter!!! Jeez, I've been procrastinating.
Word of the chapter:
Procrastinate (v.): To put off doing something; to buy time until doing something.
Ex.) Jimmy is a very smart person, but he doesn't do much work because he procrastinates too much.
There you go, now you've learned something if you didn't already know that. But I seriously need to get a move on. I think this book is at it's climax, so it'll be finished soon. I think the next chapter will be a horror special, so if you don't like that kind of stuff, you can skip it. It won't effect the story. I'm having a sleepover with my friend, though. We're gonna watch horror movies the whole time, so I'm gonna be in that mood.
Anyway, don't forget to comment and vote!
Macks-chan out. Peace✌️
