Y/N and Lotor sat on the beach by Lance's house, both were protected from the sun by a big umbrella as they watched Lance, Allura, and some of Lance's family play in the water.
Keith, Shiro, and Krolia had gone to see the Broganes biological/adoptive parents. Finding Keith's father was postponed becuase the man had gone out of town and wouldn't be back for a week.
Thinking about the McClain family reunion made Y/N smile. Tears were shed as the large family tried to each have contact with Lance one way or another. The young children were so fascinated by the Alteans and the "Angel" is what Y/N had been called. That made her laugh but she made no move to correct them.
The kids were at one point sent outside so the adults could talk, and the group was asked a sea of questions. Throughout the whole exchange Lance's mother, refused to call Y/N anything other than "The Guardian" which began to grow annoying.
After the whole ordeal was over, it lead the hybrids hiding from the sun in loose t-shirts and shorts.
As they watched the kids and Allura play around Y/N hummed before shifting to look at Lotor. "How did we do it?" She asked randomly, earning her a confused gaze. "How did two gays like us end up in completely straight relationships?" Y/N asked as clarification.
Lotor chuckled "Well technically, we're Bi. But I understand what you're saying. We were both so obsessed with finding the perfect matches for each other, that were the same gender. It was pretty silly now that I think of it." Lotor admitted and Y/N laughed.
"I mean I've had girlfriends and you've had boyfriends, but it's never been something this amazing before. We're lucky as hell" Y/N boasted. "I will admit, that if you were not already in a relationship with Keith, I would have tried to date him." Lotor said with a small blush. "If I wasn't going after Keith I'd be going after Allura." Y/N replied back smiling.

Jay sat patiently on her father's lap, her hands clutching for dear life at his jacket.
Keith and Shiro had made it to Arlington, Texas in time to see their parents about to drive off to an unknown location. Their parents got out of their car and hugged both of the boys until they couldn't breath.
Their mom, Himari, dragged the boys inside along with Krolia and Jay to prepare them tea. Once that was all done am awkward silence stood in the air. So strong, that not even Jayanti could lift the mood with her curiosity.
"Where have you been for the past 3 years, Takashi and Akira?" Himari asked, using Shiro's full name and Keith's adopted middle name. "We've been is space, protecting people, saving them from bad guys. It sounds silly now that I say it out loud." Keith muttered quietly.
Himari agreed with her son and nodded, "Then who is this adorable girl?" She asked about Jay, who buried herself further into her father. "She is your granddaughter, Princess Jayanti" Keith said as he tried to dislodge her from his shirt. Himari and her husband smiled at the little girl and waved, Jay looked at them and imitated them with her tail.
"What about you Takashi?" Himari asked her oldest son, "I was stolen from my mission in Kerberos and spent a year in a prison of sorts. I had to fight for many things, it's not fun to think about" he said quietly, hoping that they won't bring it up again.
"And who might you be?" Himari asked Krolia who sat relatively close to Keith. "I am Krolia, Keith's biological mother. Thank you for taking him in when I couldn't" Krolia said with a smile.
Himari nodded and scanned the group of 4, "So who's her mother?" Himari asked in reference to Jay. "My mommy is a queen! She has wings and cool arms and she plays with fire with me! She is with Uncle Lotor and Uncle Lance!" Jay started to brag about her mom with a big smile, causing the occupants to chuckle.
