Chapter Twenty One

Anastasia's POV:
I was emotionless, I just kept staring at the police officer that was speaking to me. I wasn't paying attention to him, I didn't understand what he was saying. All of this was making my head spin. It's something to imagine how things are going to go down and then actually seeing it happen. They took my brothers away so fast, the moment that they saw who had walked in... they had their guns out in seconds and all of them where pointing at my brothers. But my brothers didn't even flinch, it was like they where use to being at gunpoint.

"Miss... Miss LaBrant... Miss LaBrant!" All but yelled a police officer while slamming his hands on the desk. They had taken me to a small office when they realized who I was.

That was what snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at the angry police officer. His face was all red, I bet that he is like that cause of how angry he is. The only thing I did was glare at him. I'm not going to talk to him or to anyone. This is something that I had agreed with my brothers, I know what they did was wrong but they had given me all the evidence that I needed so that everyone would know what was going on. But I had agreed that I wouldn't talk to anyone until my lawyer arrived. This was a really compromising situation and whatever I say could be used against them.

"Can't you hear?!" Again all but yelled the police officer but once again I didn't respond. You could see how frustrated the police officer was getting.

When he realized that I wouldn't speak he left the office. Now I was alone here... Now I'm alone for good, I don't have any family left. But this needed to happen, all those family that they ruined deserve justice. I'm a way it didn't matter that I lost everyone cause I knew that I was doing the right thing but at the same time it felt like I had betrayed my brothers. It felt like I did a huge mistake. I was snapped out of my thoughts when the office's door opened. I wasn't facing the door, I didn't turn around to see who had entered. I couldn't... I was numbed.

"Anastasia..." I heard the voice of someone that I thought that I would never hear again.

My eyes widen in shock but I didn't turn around. I couldn't face him after everything that had happened with him, his family and his friends. Tears started forming but I wouldn't let them fall. I couldn't be weak right now, I need to be strong. Nobody can know how I really feel about all of this cause then they wouldn't believe me.

"Anastasia..." the voice called again but I didn't turn around to see the person.

"Can you please turn around Ana? I want to see your face." He said.

I took a deep breath, I can't face him. I'll start crying if I do. How I'm feeling right now... I feel ashamed cause of all the things that they had passed through thanks to my family. Out of the blue I felt a hand on my shoulder, I flinched at the contact. I didn't dare look at him.

"Anastasia why won't you look at me? Why won't you speak to anyone? Did they hurt you? I'll destroy them if they did something to you." He asked all at once.

But what made me turn to him was what he said. He thinks that my brothers would hurt me?! Just cause they are this kind of people it doesn't mean that they would just me, their sister. That made me pissed off. How dare him accuse my family of this unspeakable things. I was finally face to face with him. They guy that without meaning too I started falling for. Tyler looked shocked, I guess he wasn't expecting me to turn around.

"How dare you even think something like that! My brothers would never hurt me Tyler!" I yelled at him. But it didn't sound like me. I couldn't recognize my own voice.

"Anastasia they are capable of doing worse than just hurting you!" Yelled Tyler at me.

"You really think that they would do that to their little sister?! If you where them, if you where in their position would you have hurt Taylor?!" I screamed at him. I want cry, I can't cry.

"I would have never let myself be in the fucked up position! Who is dumb enough to actually join a Mafia and think that in the end they won't get caught!" Yelled Tyler back at me.

"You don't know what really happened Tyler!" I yelled back at him.

"So you did know about them being in a Mafia when I went that day to your house and confronted you. You lied to me Anastasia!" Said Tyler back me.

"I never lied to you! All that I know now is thanks to you coming to my house that day! Thanks to you I got to see the real deal when it came to my family. But now I wished I hadn't met you! I lost everyone! Tyler I had already lost two important people in my life but now I lost everyone! I know what they did was wrong and that's why they are here! I'm not going to defend them but you don't get to judge them either! You don't know the truth Tyler so don't come here and act as if you are the best person on the world. Don't come here and act like you have never done something so stupid or horrible cause you know you have. And you know what the worst part of all of this is?" I all but yelled at him. I couldn't hold it in anymore. Everything was too much for me to handle. My vision wasn't clears, all I could see where black dots.

"The worst part is that the only person that I thought that would never judge me is standing right here doing just that. The person I like won't let me tell the truth cause he thinks that he already knows it..." I said to him and that's when everything turn dark. I felt myself fall.
