Chapter 15: Imprinting

Skylar's POV

Once Tyler was outside we tried grabbing the knife that well but we couldn't reach it.

"Hayley, the wood." I whispered and she quickly grabbed and hid it before Tyler walked back in.

"It worked, didn't it?" I frowned.

"If Klaus gets ahold of the two of you, if he gets a hold of you and that kid, then he wins!" Tyler frowned.

"Then help me hide the baby." Hayley stated. "Help me run."

"What?! Hayley!" I frowned looking at her. "You can't take around from his kid! Don't let Tyler get in your head!"

"Skylar's right. He'll find you." Tyler said picking up the knife and came towards us. "He'll take your kid away, and he'll create more hybrid monster's. Slaves that will do everything he says."

"Tyler, whatever you're thinking of doing, there has to be another way. Your not like this." Hayley shook her head.

Tyler came even closer, giving Hayley the chance to stake him with the wood making him drop the knife.

"Ahh!" Tyler growled pulling the wood out. "That was stupid!"

"Hey, get away from them!" Dwayne said walking in with Sean.

"What do you care?" Tyler frowned.

"He said get away." Sean growled.

That's when I realized, Dwayne was sired to Hayley, and since Sean drank my blood, he was sired to me.

"You got what you wanted, so get lost!" Tyler demanded.

"Dwayne, he's gonna kill us! He said hybrids are too dangerous to live. You need to stop him!" Hayley said making Tyler turn to us.

"Shut up!" Tyler yelled making Dwayne attack him.

Sean was about to jump in when I had an idea.

"Sean! Look through the forest! If you find Elijah or Klaus tell then where we are! Go, now!" I said and just like that he was gone before Tyler could do anything.

Hayley quickly grabbed the knife and cut off both of our restrains as we ran through the forest leaving a dead Dwyane with Tyler after he ripped out Dwayne's heart.

Once Hayley and I was farther away we stopped by a tree, when we heard a twig snap from behind us. Hayley then turned around with the knife raised only to have Elijah catcher her hand.

"Forgive us, we thought you two were in danger. Perhaps we were mistaken." Elijah smiled.

"We?" I asked.

"Sky." His voice came out as he appeared.

Before I could I even think I avoided eye contact and ran off.

"Skylar!" All three yelled after me but I was gone.

Once I was farther away I walked through the woods until I was back at the cabin. Shit.

I heard the door open and saw that Klaus was stepping out.

"Klaus!" I smiled and ran to him as he caught me in his arms.

"It's okay, love. Your okay now." Klaus said hugging me to his chest.

"Thank God your here." I sighed and pulled him into a kiss.

But then someone cleared their throat making us pull away.

"Elijah, Hayley, Emmett." Klaus frowned looking behind me. "And who are you?
