Chapter 24: Wolf's Outta The Bag

Sky's POV

I was on the front porch on the swing, holding Hope as I watched the sun come up.

That's when my phone started to buzz quietly on the table next to me, seeing Emmett call men for the 564th time since Friday night when I kicked him out.

"Why are you torturing yourself?" Emily asked sitting next to me on the swing.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I shrugged.

"Yes you do." Emily frowned. "Why are you ignoring your imprint. It's only hurting the both of you. Including Hope who loves you both."

"You wanna hear what he told me?" I asked. "He said that the 'mutts' can't even protect themselves let alone a baby. And he didn't even realize until I kicked him out that he hurt me. If he's calling the boy's mutt's then he might as well and call me one as well. I'm just as much a wolf as them."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Sky." Emily frowned pulling me into a hug. "I'm sure he didn't mean it though, all you have to do is talk to him."

"And I will, not now. But soon." I nodded as the boy's all walked out of the house.

"Hey we're going to get Jake, you wanna come or stay with Em?" Sam asked.

"We could use the fresh air, let's go." I smiled as Hope woke up and had the biggest smile on her face.

Once we got to Jake's Bella was already here, and she looked pissed, meaning the guys made me stay behind them with Hope.

"What did you do?!" Bella see that pushing Sam back.

"Watch it!" Jared stated.

"Easy!" Sam held his hand out at the boys, using his Alpha voice. So far I haven't had a reason to use mine.

"He didn't want this!" Bella frowned.

"What did we do?" Embry asked

"What did he do?" Paul growled. "What did he tell you?!"

"Both of you clam down!" Sam ordered.

"Nothing. He tells me nothing because he's scared of you!" Bella exclaimed.

This caused Jared and Paul to laugh. Next thing we know Bella slapped Paul, making me hand Hope off to Sean as I moved to Bella's side.

"Too late now." Jared stated.

"Not the time Jare." I frowned and looked at Bella. "Get back."

"Paul calm down, now!" Sam ordered but he already phased making me push Bella back and run with her as Paul stalked towards us.

"Bella! Sky!" Jake yelled running towards us, once Jake neared I phased with him on the fly to protect Bella.

'Paul! Stop!' I ordered but he came at us anyways.

I was the first to act and jumped on hin, sinking some teeth in his neck but he ended up scratching my stomach as he hovered over me, but only to be knocked off me by Jake and through the yard into the woods.

"Hey, take Hope and Bella back to Emily's." Sam said then turned to me. "Lets go get the fucking idiots."

I nodded and Sam phased and we ran to the boy's who were still fighting.

"Stop!" Sam growled but they didn't listen. We both tried breaking them up but they seemed relentless.

That's when my tolerance finally blew.

'ENOUGH!!!' I growled but my voice was stronger than I expected, and even scared the boy's making them look at me shocked. "PHASE BACK NOW!'
