I woke up the next morning rand turned to see Emmett laying next to me with his eyes closed.
"Finally." Emmett chuckled pulling me closer to him, cuddling. "I just wish we could stay like this forever."
"Me too." I sighed, snuggling more into his chest. "But dad's gonna come up to wake me up if I don't get downstairs soon."
"What time is it now?" Emmett asked.
"7:30" I groaned sitting up, leaving Emmett's grip. "Which means it's half past noon in Rio, and you told Carlisle and Esme you'd be back by 1:00."
"Noooo." Emmett groaned, putting is head into my pillows.
"Hey, you could have told them you wanted to go away on your own for a while, instead of going hunting and had Rose, Connor, Alice, and Jasper cover for you." I pointed out.
"Well in my defense the vision Alice told me assumed you were dead." Emmett pointed out.
"And if I was?" I asked with a frown making Emmett snap his head towards me.
"Don't talk like that." Emmett frowned.
"Well, what if I was? I have plenty of enemies that would love to have a chance to kill me. Sometimes I doubt it's worth putting up a fight." I sighed.
"Sky, without you, there would be nothing left for me to live for." Emmett stood up and walked towards me. "If you ever died on me, I'd go with you, right by your side. But for right now, if there are others that are gonna come after you, I'll be right by your side ready to fight."
"Really?" I asked getting enotional.
"Always and Forever." Emmett promised pulling me into a slow passionate kiss.
"I love you." I breathed out, resting my forehead against his.
"I love you more." Emmett said, then kissed my head. "I have to get ready."
"Okay." I nodded and went to my closet grabbing my clothes for the day.

Once I was done I walked out from my bathroom to see Emmett looking at a the picture of us from Bella and I's party with a smile on his face.
"You know, I actually thought we'd all be normal for that night. That was before the opening of gifts." Emmett sighed.
