#59 Scary Movie Night

Luke: Sinister

Luke tried to come across as some chill, not afraid of anything type of guy, but really, he was scared about pretty much anything in a scary movie.

You didn't know that until Sinister was about a quarter in. The two of you were snuggled up on the couch, a thin blanket covering you with a bowl of popcorn in your lap. With your back up against Luke's chest, you could feel every beat of his heart. Occasionally you would feel it beat a mile a minute, thumping loudly, and slowly go back to normal when the scene was over. He didn't say anything, heaven forbid he seem nervous or frighted in front of his girlfriend. In his eyes, it was his job to be tough, so you felt safe with him at all times.

"Shit," he jumped, his grip around you waist tightening.

"What? Is little Lukey scared?" you teased, looking back at him, noticing his mouth was partially open in fear. His eyes were fixed on the television before he shot a look at you, closing his mouth quickly and blinking repeatedly.

"Huh? No, it's just, um, a tad creepy. Why," he gave you a reassuring squeeze.

"Are you scared?" Luke asked, burrowing his face in your neck, kissing lightly.

"No," you giggled.

"It hasn't even gotten to the scariest part yet. Wait until he plays the clips." you said. You'd seen the movie multiple times, and still, seeing the scenes where the demon chains the family in the car and sets it on fire, with the creepiest music, terrifies you half to death. You could only imagine what Luke's reaction would be.

"Clips?" Luke muttered, his head resting against yours, breathing loudly in anticipation. The movie continued, and when the clip you were thinking about showed, Luke squealed.

"Oh my God, did you just scream?" you laughed, your heart beating just as fast as Luke's. You turned to face him, and awed when seeing his face buried in his trembling hands.

"Poor baby," you cooed, sliding onto your side where you were the one holding him.

"It's just a movie." you said, rubbing his arm with your finger.

"What the fuck was that anyway," he grumbled. moving his hands away from his face and looking at you.

"Something that will never happen, okay? Wanna watch Mean Girls Instead?" Luke chuckled at that.

"Could we?" you smiled, kissing his lips.

"Of course."

Ashton: The Grudge

"Popcorn?" Ashton questioned.

"Check," you answered.

"Blankets?"

"Yep."

"Candy?"

"Mmmhmm."

"A beautiful girlfriend?"

"Che-what?" Ashton laughed, pulling you onto the floor with him.

"Check," he giggled, kissing your cheek. You blushed.

"You're such a cheeseball," Ashton giggled, grabbing the remote and pressing play. It was Friday night, and ever since you could remember, the two of you had been having movie nights, whether they be scary or funny or anything in between. Tonight, while your parents were gone, you decided a scary movie would be fun so you could scream freely without being scolded by your parents.

"The Grudge. Sounds scary," you said, leaning you head against his shoulder.

"Because I know you're a pansey, you can hold my hand if you'd like," Ash offered with a small giggle. You rolled your eyes. The movie continued, with only a few jumps from you, and laughs from Ashton.
