Today was the first day if senior year. Where prom is most special because it's the last one. When yearbooks are most important to get. Most of all relationships.

I woke up around 6:30am. I got in the shower and did my hair. I put it in a French braid. I put on my high waisted shorts. They were light blue with three buttons on them. My favorite pair. I put on a white v-neck shirt and tucked it in. I put on my white vans and headed down my stairs to eat breakfast.

My mom had made pancakes. My dad had left for work early this morning.

"Still trying to dress to impress" my mom said laughing at me.

"Well that depends. Do you consider wearing my favorite outfit on the first day of school impressing?" I said getting orange juice out if the fridge.

"Umm I guess only if it's for Matthew then yes." My mom said smirking.

I kinda rolled my eyes and laughed.

"So Jack comes home this weekend right." I asked with a huge smile on my face.

"Yes he does. But your helping the football team with Gracie Saturday remember?" My mom questioned me with a confused look on her face.

I froze. "Oh yeah haha"

I finished my breakfast and got my backpack and grabbed my car keys for my 2014 black mustang and left.

"Bye mom. I love you see you later." I screamed.

"Bye honey. Love you too. Be care and have fun." she yelled back.

When I got to school I looked everywhere for a parking spot and saw one. The only on left. Of course right next to Matthew. I pulled in and kinda just hid my face as I got out of my car.

"Hey Taylor. Did you know we have 5th period together." I turned around to see who it was. It was Cameron. The one with the huge smile on his face.

"Oh really that's cool." I said looking up from my phone smiling.

"Yeah. So I'll see you there" he said looking at Matt.

"I guess you will." I said still smiling and then walking away.

Once I got into the school I felt someone push me. It was Gracie.

"Holy crap. Did I just see someone talking to Mr. Dallas you know that kids bestfriend?" she said all excited.

I turned around to see them all still staring at me.

"Well if you mean being stopped to be told you have 5th period with him then yes I was just talking to 'Mr.Dallas'" I said laughing and turning back around.

"Maybe you will get lucky and get paired up with him for a project and see Matt. Outside. Of. School. I heard that they all live an in apartment together." She said smirking at me.

"Please don't jinx it for me. I mean as much as I would like to see that I don't want to be there after school where I can get pushed around." I told her.

The 4 boys all walked passed Gracie and I and kinda just stared us down like we had done something to be ashamed of.

"Oh hey Gracie we are helping the football team this Saturday." I said walking past the four boys who were standing at there locker.

"Yes I do actually my mom was pestering me about it this morning." She said laughing.

"Oh my god same!!" I said not trying to sound to proud.

After our first 4 periods I came to figure out that I have 1 class with Gracie and that's science. That's the class I'm horrible in and she's amazing in. So win.

I walked into lunch and found Gracie. I sat down next to her and said "hello" to everyone from last year that I never hung out with but considered a friend.

After lunch I walked with Gracie to 5th period. Hers was right next door to mine.

Once I got inside I found my seat and sat down. Cameron walked in with a huge smile on his face and said "bye" to Nash.

I guess it turns out Cameron sat right next to me. Joy.

"Hello class." the teacher began.

"Oh great a boring teacher." I mumbled to myself. I could hear Cameron laugh.

"Right." he said still smiling leaning over to me.

"Welcome to our wonderful language arts class of building 16 room 1606. I know it's only the first day of school but you need to understand your priorities. I will give out more information about it but you are doing a project with your neighbor. I am giving out information packets now and I recommend that you start as soon as possible." Mr. McCoy said with a rather large smile on his face.

By the time he handed out all the packets it was about 5 minutes to the bell.

"So tonight I can read over the packet and we can start working on it maybe tomorrow?" I asked Cameron with a rather glum look on my face

"Yeah that's fine with me." He responded putting the packet in his backpack.

The bell rung and I ran out to Gracie to tell her the news about my project partner.

"Thanks for jinxing it." I said to her

"Oh your welcome. But if it makes you feel any better I have Carter in 3 classes that boy has the biggest crush on me. I'm telling you he would not stop looking at me. God." she said walking into the same class as me.

"Wait your in here?" I asked her happily.

"Yeah. Are you?" she responded

"YES!!" I said kinda loud.

All of the sudden everything changed. Matthew, Nash, Carter, and Cameron all walked in at the same time.

"Hah. Guess your 7th period is great. I mean better than your 6th period which is reading." She said sitting next to me in the back row.

"A-h-a-h your so funny." I told her sarcastically.

"I know hehe" she said turning around as class started.

"This class could be taking any longer to get over with." I thought to myself.

Soon enough the bell rang. I ran out of class to my car and then was stopped in the parking lot.

"Hey Taylor wait I need to ask you something." Cameron said running up to me.

"What?" I asked him standing in front of my school.

"Can I have your number so I can text you about the project and stuff for 5th." he said

"Yeah. let me see your phone." I said as I put my number into his phone and gave it back to him.

"Ok bye I'll see you tomorrow." He said walking away.

As I got to my car I plugged my cord into my phone and turned on some music.

I arrived home around 3:30. I started reading my packet and realized how much work this is gonna be.
