"Hey matt" I smiled looking at the ground.

"Taylor" Matt said with a stern voice. "What happened"

"I can't tell you" I turned away to go to my room but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me around.

"Yes you can and your gonna" he looked into my eyes. His weren't the adorable hazel eyes you see. They were dark and kinda scary.

"No. I can't tell you Matt. I don't want you to get hurt because of me" I frowned.

"Stop it. Don't worry about me I wanna know who did this." He said grabbing my waist.

"I have to worry I'm your girlfriend. That's what I do." I giggled.

"Was it a guy" he asked

I nodded

"David?" he asked.

I nodded. I looked at the ground scared of his reaction. I felt tears in my eyes. "He's gonna hurt you because I didn't do wh- what he t-t-told me to"

"Hey baby. It's gonna be ok. I'm not gonna get hurt. Were gonna be fine. I'm gonna stay here until someone gets home. You don't need to be getting hurt again like this." He wiped the tears off my face. I smiled a little. I hugged him really tight.

"I love you" I mumbled into his sweatshirt.

"I love you too" he hugged me back "jump"

I wrapped my legs around his waist and hands around his neck. He carried me to the couch and set me down. I slowly started to fall asleep until the door bell rang. I turned to look at Matt who had a confused look on his face. I stood up, Matt got up and walked towards the door with me slowly behind him. I stood next to him as he wrapped his hand around my waist. I grabbed the knob to turn it.

"Hey babe" Tina smirked. She walked in my house and pushed past me and grabbed Matts hand. "Ready to go?" she asked.

I looked at Tina with an annoyed/ pissed off look who was smirking at Matt while he was looking at me.

"What the hell" I asked.

"Did you not know? Matt and I are going out to the store for a little bit. I texted him earlier and he said yes" Tina said kissing his cheek.

I looked at Matt who remained in silence. "Ok. Have fun" I smiled.

What am I supposed to say no Matt you can't go we have that movie to see with Gracie and Carter. I'm not his mom.

"Sorry Tina. I can't go today or at all. I have a date tonight with Taylor." He tore away from Tina and came over to me.

"But I need someone to help me pick out clothes." She frowned.

"You can go alone" Matt said.

"Matt you can go I don't care" I whispered only so he could hear.

"No. It's fine." He whispered back.

"No go ahead I don't care. Buy yourself a new bucket hat" I laughed.

He groaned "what if I don't go?" he pulled me into the kitchen leaving Tina in the doorway so she couldn't hear our conversation.

"I'm..." I paused "never gonna hug you ever again" I finished

"Fine. I need your hugs they power me. I'll be home by 5:30 so I have time to get ready for tonight. I'll text you nonstop so you don't worry. I love you baby. If anything happens it's her fault I would never cheat on you. Ok?" he asked.

"Ok. I love you too" I kissed his forehead.

"Those power me too" he said kissing my nose before my lips. I giggled.

He grabbed my hand and walked out of the kitchen meeting Tina in the doorway.

"Can we go now?" she asked Matt annoyed.

"Yes" he rolled his eyes. He pulled me in for a hug and kissed me really quick.

We pulled away and he looked at me with a 'this is all your fault your lucky I love you and your hugs' look.

I giggled at him as he walked out and closed the door.

"And so hell begins" Matt texted me. I laughed and locked my phone and sat down on the couch.
