I took a deep breath and held my concentration the best I could. This was a training method used to balance my control of hydromancy. Standing completely still over a calm body of water while keeping the three phases of water consistent.

Regretfully, I said that to myself and to no surprise I broke the surface tension and sunk right to the bottom of the pond.
Why did I feel the need to jinx myself?
I crossed my legs and propped my head up on the palm of my hand in irritation. This was my eleventh attempt trying to master simultaneous control and I've failed every single time.
I raised my arm infront of my face, staring at the transparent appearance. When my body is submerged in water or even touching a certain amount, I am able to become it as well while keeping my solid form. This also gives me ability to treat the water like oxygen and be able to inhale it. Though I don't have gills, my lungs are made to be able to survive on water or air.
Like a little mermaid... if they actually exist.
Grabbing my attention, I could hear the faint ringing of my phone from above the water.
"An idiot is attempting to reach you on your cellular device."
The muffled robotic voice said from land. The only person I have that ringtone set for was my the number one hero, All-Might.
With a classic eye roll, I propelled myself out of the water and landed on the ground that was covered with healthy green leaves and tree roots.

Rushing to get to my phone before I missed the call, the contact ID said "Dad". I cleared my throat and quickly pressed answer where a loud voice immediately started speaking:
"Ha ha ha! Akito it's been a while! Are you ready for your first day?"
My first day of what? It's April seventh... the seventh oh shit-
"Son of a- Dang it dad, why didn't you remind me?! I'm still all the way in Jūniko!"

Scaring me half to death, a helicopter appeared out of nowhere and landed not too far from the pond.
"Knock knock!"
"There ain't no way!" I exclaimed, running out to the aircraft, weaving through trees and bushes that surrounded the hidden treasure to get there.
The spiraling wind blew my hair in all sorts of directions as the sliding door opened where All-Might stood right in the middle of. A big smile was plastered all over his face while waving at me as if he were someone in a crowd. "Hey!"
