I yawned opening my eyes seeing Shoto's sleeping face. I smiled caressing his cheek getting up from the bed. I have to get home and change. I'll leave him a little note if he wakes up before I get back.

I smiled looking in the mirror at my cute workout clothes that consisted of black spandex track shorts and a white sports bra. My family owned a private beach just off the coast which is about a 30 minute train ride from here, that will be the perfect area to train our quirks. Quietly I opened Shoto's window creeping inside. As expected he was still asleep. I rolled my eyes walking towards his bedside sitting next to him. "Wake up panda bear. I let you sleep in. Did you forget we have training today? I'm suppose to train you remember?"
He groaned in his sleep pulling the blankets over his head. A stress mark appeared on my face, laying down next to him. "C'mon! How am I suppose to help you if you won't get up sleepy head?" He took a deep breath stretching his limbs out of the blankets and finally got out of bed. "How can you be so energetic so early in the morning?" I smiled ruffling his hair opening his closet. "Get dressed! I'll be waiting in the living room. I'll even pack lunch for us." He yawned walking toward his closet with a nod. "Ok."

"Your body is the seed to your power. If it is damaged to a certain extent, the power will be damaged as well, making it not as strong. Just because you control Ice and Fire, doesn't mean that is all you can do. Think about it. Ice is one of the three stages of water. Liquid, gas, and solid. Thinking outside the box is what makes you stronger. I know you can control not only ice, but liquid water and vapor as well. In order to do so, you need to move and think like the stages of water. The way water moves is most important. Surroundings, sound, the wind, all change water. So, first thing I want to do with you is help you unlock the next level of your quirk. Close your eyes and tell me what you hear, what you can smell, what you feel."
Shoto took a deep breath and closed his eyes. The sound of the crashing waves filled our eardrums as he spoke to me. "I can hear the waves of the ocean and smell the salt water. The wind feels hasty and cool." Obviously dummy. I smiled as he opened his eyes. "Good. Second is learning to move like water. Once your able to duplicate the same movements, the water will grow to trust you and think of you as a part of itself. Watch closely while I demonstrate." I said walking into the water with a deep concentrated breath. White noise. Only the feeling of touch will fill my senses at this very moment.
I raised my hands up to my chest swaying my arms and body to the direction of the waves without looking or hearing. The water that surrounded me started to comply with my bodily movements and swayed in whichever direction I went in. The stronger I swayed the stronger the waves were. It came to a point where I created a curling wave just behind me before setting it down where the waves just continued going with the movements of the ocean. "Like that." I said with a smile. He sweat dropped pointing at the water. "I'm suppose to do exactly what you just did?"
I stifled a laugh shaking my head. "What?! No! That's just how one day it should look. Practice makes perfect." Shoto sighed stepping in the water with me as I gently held his wrist from behind his to move his body like an ocean wave. "You know, I couldn't always do what I do. My quirk was to control water and only liquid water. My mother taught me that if you think about it, everything has water in it, moisture at least. If I could control that, I would be ten times stronger. I could control ice and vapor only because I tried and worked at it. It is the same thing with you. Just try it." I said into his ear. He took a deep breath, trusting my words and moved like the ocean waves, listening and feeling what was around him. I knew he was a visual learner.
He squeezed his eyes shut in order to keep his concentration as the ocean waves started to push and pull more violently and the water started to drop in temperature slowly freezing. At least he was able to move the water without freezing it in the first few seconds. This tells me he has what it takes to do almost what I do. Maybe I can have him control the forms of water long enough to freeze them and use them to attack. This could work. Snapping me out of my thoughts I felt my legs become frozen in the water. Everything around us turned to ice actually. He sweat dropped lowering his arms. "S-Sorry." I smiled liquefying the ice around my legs so I could get out and hopped off onto the solid ice. Shoto seemed to be embarrassed that he froze the area around us but all I did was give him a pat on the head. "You showed me you have what it takes to control the stages of water long enough to use them as an ice attack. Mistakes are to help us get better. Let's do our best ok?" I said sweetly kissing his cheek as I melted the ice.
He smiled holding my hand. "Thank you for this. But...we've been here all day. What time is it anyway?" I raised my eyebrows looking at the setting sun and down to my water proof watch. "It's 7:32. Do you want to head back now?" He nodded as we walked out of the water. "We have school tomorrow. It's best if we get our sleep early tonight." I nodded with a smile. "Ok."
