The full moon shines down on us as the starry night provide us with some entertainment. I lay on my back on the blanket Anna and I are sharing as we try to pick out constellations in the sky. Close by, the bonfire is raging red and orange flames as music blasts from loud speakers. This isn't just any Friday night party, at least not for us shifters, and especially not for me. The Pack gets together and we throw bonfire parties every full moon on the lookout point. ShadowBrooke is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and a national forest which, if we go deep enough, it is the perfect spot to have wild parties. It's also the perfect place to disappear and give into our animal forms. But the lookout point is spelled with a cloaking spell every full moon so no one can find this spot or accidentally stumble upon it and see us shifting.

It's basically Tristan's backyard, except it's a cliff with the ocean down on one side and the forest on the other. Before he joined the Royal Army, Tristan built his own home here at the edge of town. He barely spent half a year in it before he left. Bethany looks after it, in case he ever decides to come back home for good. But it's where he stays when he is in town.

"I wish I just came in my nighties," I tell Anna as she sips on the beer bottle in her hand. Anna decided to go with high-waisted shorts, a sexy low-cut black top, and casual sandals to show off her pedicure.

"Right," she agrees, then laughs, "hell, we'd look pretty sexy in our nighties."

I laugh, agreeing with her, "Damn right!"

"We need to do something epic," Anna starts, "I mean, it's the summer before college, bruh!"

"Party?" I question.

Anna waves her hand, dismissing my suggestion, "Nah, like obviously we're gonna party, but I meant something...spiritual."

I snort before full on laughing, "Anna? Are you high or something? Or have you forgotten your last spiritual adventure?"

She flinches at the memory of us taking off to a yoga camp where she nearly died of mosquito bites and fell into a swamp. She sighs, "You're right. We could always go hiking or backpacking," then her eyes lit up, "aaaaand, we can take the boys with us for safety."

"You mean, my brother?" I question, rolling my eyes but smiling at the same time.

She grins, "Yes! And of course, Timmy."

"Uh, no. I don't want to watch you and my brother flirting the whole trip," I object and her grin turns into a pout as her brothers come up to us.

Xavier, her oldest brother at twenty, shakes his head at Anna, "So you've been hogging all the Coronas."

Xavier usually comes home whenever he can. He wanted to go to Duke University but decided to stay closer to ShadowBrooke and go to Oregon State. Xavier and Anna share the same black hair like their parents and inherited their mother's striking blue eyes. It certainly helps Xavier pull off that bad boy look but intimidate yet calm people as the Pack peace-keeper.

Anna rolls her eyes as he takes my hand and presses it against his lips to kiss it playfully, "It's about time you joined the rest of us."

I laugh, returning his kiss with a kiss to his stubbly cheek, "I know right!"

"Eww, stop. Now," Anna demands and we look over at her cringing. Xavier looks at her, puzzled, "What? You get to hook up with her brother yet she's off limits? How's that fair?"

I smirk at her, "See that's how I feel every time you and Keith make-out in front of me."

She sticks her tongue out at me while Xavier laughs and says, "We were wondering if you guys wanna join us?"
