(Scarlet Asher)

I examine the application in front of me while Tristan beckons Neal to let the next applicant in. I raise an eyebrow seeing the name on the paper. Immediately I know this one's here for more than just training to become a Knighthunter. The door opens and a young boy, probably just turned eighteen, walks in. He's wearing a designer outfit, dark jeans and a stark white button down shirt. His black hair combed back, gray eyes focused on Tristan and me, and his stride calm yet confident. He reminds me so much of his father.

"Alpha and Luna Asher," he greets us, politely. His voice is deep, the kind that demands to be listened to.

Tristan smiles, "Take a seat, young man."

He does.

"Why do you want to be a part of our Knighthunter program?" I cut to the chase and ask him.

"You are the best in the nation. You have Warrior James Claws here," the boy replies.

"But you don't need training, do you?" I question, "You already got the best training there is, seeing your background."

He nods, "I did but situations at home aren't the best right now and I believe I can help you here, while I keep a low profile."

Tristan and I glance at each other. This boy came to us because he literally has nowhere else to go.

"I apologize for this being last minute," the boy notices our hesitation lets out a deep sigh, "and I understand if you don't want to get involved."

"You don't have to apologize," I tell him, shaking my head and dismissing his apology.

"We're not going to put you in with the other trainees. And to protect your identity, no one can know who you are. Trainees go on missions and people talk. We don't want anyone to come looking for you and asking questions," I tell him and make sure he understands.

"That's why I came here. My family trusts you, and my uncle is here," he agrees.

"You'll be helping your uncle, be an assistant trainer," Tristan adds, "you okay with that?"

"Of course, sir," he nods.

"Alright, you will work with Rick Goethe, our Head of Operations, to come up with a new identity," I tell the boy, "you will keep this new identity until the world is ready for you."

Tristan agrees with me, "As long as you're with us no one will know you're Rose and Josh's son."
