my feet slowly glide across the school floors, admiring the colors plastered all over the posters on the walls.

all kind of sports flyers are scattered across the halls. people are standing in line filling them out.

my eyes dart around trying to find heather, daniel, or avery throughout the huge school filled with random people that i don't know of.

out of nowhere, pressure gets put around my neck, "hey slut."

i look up a bit seeing avery slouching down while smiling at me with her arm wrapped around my neck.

"hey." i smiled lightly at her.

"are you thinking about signing up for anything?" she asks me.

i shake my head, "no, sports isn't my thing."

avery chuckled then finally stood up straight, taking her arm off of me, "thank god you aren't."

i laughed a bit.

my ears capture loud laughs coming down the halls.

"might want to move out of the way." avery grabs the back of my shirt and yanks me to the side of the hallway.

i look up at her in confusion. she looked down to me, then to the left of her. there stood ethan, grayson, and some other dude with them.

everyone stopped filling out forms and walked away quietly, not wanting to deal with the three of them and what they could do to them.

ethan started walking forward slowly to the football sign up sheet. he picked up the pen and wrote down his name.

grayson and the random guy did the same.

ethan scanned the hallway, looking at everyone's face.

shortly, everyone left. making the five of us in the same place.

ethan started talking to grayson about something.

my eyes was glued onto them and trying to hear what they was saying.

avery lightly pushed me. "stop looking," she whispered.

i looked at her annoyed. "you could've just told me."

the three boys stopped talking and turned around to the slight noise that was being handled.

avery and i turned around the corner and started to walk down the hall faster.

footsteps become louder and closer to us. avery looked at me worried of what might happen, i had the same look on my face.

"look, it's that twerp i was talking to you guys about." a familiar voice came from behind us.
laughter filled the empty halls.

avery and i came to a stop. we stood there quietly, not knowing what to do.

the laughter came closer to us. my heart rate began to beat faster. i started biting my lip from nervousness.
