another ring comes from my phone as i go to pick it up and take it off of the charger.

the screen lights up showing many texts from other people.

my eyes widen to see what time it is. school is halfway over so there is no point of going.

minutes later ethan texted me back.

me: hey nessa. are you down for a camping trip this weekend? a couple of friends and i are going camping and said i could bring you along if you're fine with that. we are leaving around 4 so be ready! text me back if you want to go or not!
