morning birds chirp with excitement waking me up.
the suns bright early glow shined through my eye lids.
one of my eyes pop open looking around to see where i am.
"goodmorning." i hear a raspy voice whisper in my ear.
i look up to see ethan smiling down at me. "hi." i simply tell him.
"how'd you sleep?" he asked me.
my mouth opened wide preparing for a yawn. "good." i breathed out. "you?"
"okay, besides you snoring." he laughs.
my face lit up with embarrassment. "sorry." i spoke sitting up from his chest.
"it's fine." ethan said lifting his head, propping his arms behind his back to support his body up. "it's cute anyways." he shrugged.
i pushed my body off of his, moving over into the passenger seat. ethan pushes on the chairs lever, pulling himself towards the steering wheel.
"what time is it?" i asked running my hands through my hair.
ethan reached over to his phone that rested in the cup holder. grabbing it and pressing on the home button.
"10:36 am."
i nodded my head as a simple 'okay.'
the sound of nature fills our hearing for a long moment. trying to gather early morning thoughts.
something doesn't feel right.
"ethan?" i look over my shoulder to see him.
his messy morning hair always made my heart grow warm.
the way his eyes look more intense than usual.
bright red ran across his nose from the morning october cold.
"yes?" he asked licking his pink fluent lips.
damn.
my head shakes back and forth with my eyebrows furrowed. "some thing doesn't feel right." i said looked down at the jeeps flooring.
"are you okay?" ethan asks me concerned.
his hand lands on mine, rubbing his thumb against my cold smooth skin.
then it hits me.
holy shit.
"ethan we have school!" i blurted out.
his body jumps in the air being scared. pulling his hand off of mine onto his chest.
my head shoots over at him. "sorry." i say.
my hand grabs onto the seatbelt, yanking it over my shoulder, then buckling it in.
"drive me to school."
